Allowed to keep the rifles in hand, but they collected all the bolts in a big box. Gotta keep the appearance of being "normal" up I suppose.

As I recall they weren't allowed live ammo when guarding the airports after 9/11 either. It's about photo ops, not security.

I often here my fellow Canadian Vets complaining about our gun laws saying stuff like "I'm trusted or was trusted to carry a gun when I was in the Armed Forces, but as can civilian I'm not..?"
