Todays gunshow follies :)

A couple of other members of this board (Plateshooter and Maddog) and I went to a small local gunshow this am. Plate happens to be looking for an OLY 9mm upper. As we hit the last isle of the show, we spot one on a table.
Turn the tag over and it says "$795"!!!! Yikes!
We both comment about it being pretty high for a $595 new from OLY upper. Tableholder hears comment and starts telling us that it's a COLT upper, dammit!
Now, I've got the exact same OLY 9mm upper, and there is no mistaking an OLY for a Colt 9mm upper, now way. The ejector gives it away without even looking at the bolt.
So, is he a thief, or a dumbass that bought an Oly upper when he thought he was buying a Colt?

Anybody want to buy a Colt Jennings for $500?

BTW, ammo was cheap. Wolf 9mm for $95 per K OTD, Wolf 7.62X39FMJ for $85 per K, OTD, great price.
 

Thief if he falls in with the majority of the dealers at gun shows.

I though the gun show loop-hole was the one that allowed dealers to mark up their goods 20% over full retail and then sell them to ignorant first time gun buyers and those who don't know better.

Wow, there's another great deal on an upper that sells new for $595.
