After seeing the mora knife thread and the broken K Bar knife, I figured I'd start this thread up.

What is your daily carry knife and what is your Bushcraft / survival knife you of choice?
Oh what the hell, what is your favorite Axe while at it too?

As for axes... Haha

I restore vintage axes for fun and profit. So the list is long.

I've got Kelly's, plumbs, Collins, Sager's, and a wide variety of lesser known brands.
My fall back is a sweet little double bit cruiser axe.
However I've been trying to track down a fair deal on an old Norlund.

If your so inclined you can like my Facebook page.

The Axe and Spoon.

I also hand carve wooden spoons.

I've been carrying a Case Mini Trapper for 25 years, have yet to find something it won't do. I have been carrying a cheap SOG from Walmart for a little over a year just as a beater knife.

Can't justify spending $100 on a Benchmade even though I'd love to have one.

I love this Kellam Wolverine as an EDC fixed blade.

Puukkos are an extremely good design for all around use, from kitchen work to wood carving, they're very easy to sharpen and the edge lasts a long time.

The folder is a CRKT M21 for size comparison, and I carry it where people get fussy about fixed blades.

Daily carry:  ZT0200

Field knife:  Swamprat Rodent 6

If I'm expecting to chop, then I bring my Condor HD Kukri.  That thing is a limbing machine and quite honestly my most used chopper.  For the cheap $ and awesome results I get from it........it's one of my all time favorite "big knives."  The only reason I prefer the Rodent 6 over it is for being 1/2 the weight and smaller in size (easier to carry).

EDC, besides from the multi tool, is a Buck 721.

Bush/Survival knife is a Buck Special...and of course the multi tool.

I don't own an axe.  I got a Woodsmans Pal, does that count?  And a great big Camillus Carnivore Max, which I expect will break the first time it's used hard.

EDC is a Benchmade Griptilian and a SAK Super Tinker.

Outdoors knives are a Benchmade Griptilian and a SAK Super Tinker.

Big fixed blades make for neat pictures but are no fun to carry around with the rest of my hiking gear.
