Gen 4 "duty" guns 17/19/22/23 get sent mainly to LE contracts due to made in USA clauses

They are not exactly rare but slightly uncommon

As opposed to USA 42 43 41 etc

Now if it was marked Russia I'd be jelli

I prefer my Glocks made in Austria.

In fact, I'll pay a mild premium for them, especially if they have the "frying pan" coating and are gen3.

$699 is Glock MAP pricing which they enforce mercilessly

So you so that is what a new one costs unless the dealer wants to risk his Glock dealership

Huh.  I blue label mine.....and damn....I remember buying new gen3s for $450-500 pretty easily when I didn't have access to blue labels.

IMHO that's a bit steep for a glock to be quite honest.  $500 is a good spot for a basic gun.  $700 is ass-rape.

I picked up a US G19 a few years ago. It was likely made for export because it has GA proofs on the barrel, slide and frame.

It nothing special, just an average glock.
What a G19 is great for, is a host but i like to use a gen 3.

I prefer my Gen 1 G17 when it comes to 9mm Glocks.

What is Jelly is shooting my G40 10mm.

M&P is an ergonomically improved Glock.

I've owned both and like both. I used to own a Glock 19 and my M&P9c has been my carry handgun since 2008.

One day hopefully soon I'll  have my Glock 20.

Nope.

I can has Steyr M9 to scratch my polymer striker fired pistol itch.

I actually like shooting it as opposed to a Glock.

As for the made in the USA thing, that doesn't bother me as much as if it is a quality gun or not. Call me a hipster or unpatriotic but I would just as soon buy Antarctica.

Hey there's an idea. I bet some people would pay big bucks for a gun stamped made in Antarctica.

I just picked up a 17  for $425 which is blue label pricing. If you join the GSSF for two years like $60 you will get a coupon for one gun at blue label pricing. Glocks have gotten pricey but $700 is nuts.
