AIM have always been a stand up, transparent company. Just seem like genuinely good people running that. They are active on the Industry here and always communicating with their customers. They also didn't jack up their prices during the crazy times of the past.
Funny to see everyone grab their pitchforks and torches right now. |

I was wrapping some tin foil on my head earlier and came up with a good one. What if this was just the start of hacks on online gun/ammo venders. .gov compiling a 'list' of gun owners easier with some random 'hacks' than trying to force gun shops etc from turning over 4473's.... View Quote Well, if they hack the place I buy ammo from, they are going to have second thoughts about fucking with me. |

1) Be glad that your receiving contact from this company about this data breach. Many companies try to hide it to avoid liability. They are doing the right thing.
2) Every American has already had their personal identifying information hacked several times already. 3) The FBI, US government, VA, DoD, US government, banks, colleges have been hacked. A tiny company with a small footprint should not be expected to do much better. 4) I have received 4 notifications that my information has been hacked this past year alone via OPM, Anthem, etc. 5) Apply for a credit lock for free. Profit. |

Rinse and repeat because it will happen again and again and again. I buy from places that have had card numbers compromised.... don't care. In online cases, it's typically the card processor that gets compromised, not the actual vendor. Getting a pic of your drivers license taken is a bigger deal than a credit card getting compromised. Identity theft is a way bigger deal than someone using your credit card number. |
