It's why I bought my son one as a first folder, it's dead simple and reliable

It's fun to play around with, but I would look at something else if you want a tough knife to really use.

He was talking about the Microtech Ultratech I'm pretty sure.  I think I'm going to pass on it.  Concerning the Sebenza as a working knife...it's all that and more.  That's one knife I'm glad I spent the money on.

My current EDC knife is a Benchmade 5500. Love that knife!

Warning: TL;DR alert:

I used to have a Benchmade 5270 (loved that thing as well) but it got lost when I sent it out for some warranty repair work. Due to Benchmade's policy on doing warranty work on automatic knives, I had to send it back to them through the dealer. So, I took it to them and sent it out, never got a call that it was back. I called every couple weeks and kept checking anytime I was in there and they told me it was still out. So, finally after several months of this, I asked to speak to the owner of the shop so I could get to the bottom of what was taking so long. He called Benchmade and they said they never recieved it. The repair tag showing that it was out for repair still. So, the owner says "Well, we can't find your knife. It's been lost somewhere between here and Benchmade. Not our fault, but not yours either. Bottom line is, you need a knife, so your're going to walk out of here with a knife today." He then told me to pick out one that was right around the same price point as the one that got lost, he zeroed it out on the register, and I walked out with a brand new 5500. Which is why I do business with those guys.

How stupid big is the Satu?

Well, I took out my (what I thought) was my other stupid big folder, the Benchmade Adamas.

It's positively petite next to the Satu.

You might want to hold off on the Dua.

A little bird told me that the "Tiga" is coming out in a few months, it'll be sized between the Satu and Dua.

It's the same as the two above it:

Zero Tolerance ZT0400 "Scavenger".

That one had been pimped, blade had been acid washed, scales were bead blasted.

Lots of them are gone now, mostly because I had to sell them to get those Midtechs.

Thanks, it looked like it, but I was confused not seeing the ZT logo. Acid washing the blade explains why it's gone.

ETA: Damn, looks like they discontinued the 0400's.

Yeah, that's why I bought a bunch of 'em.

Do you want plain blade of serrated?

I saw a serrated for sale on BF or on the EE.

usually a Kershaw leek. I love it as an edc knife as I barely notice its there.

I also love my Kershaw 1860 piston. It is a large knife that doesn't feel big in my pocket thanks to its clip.

thanks to the other threads like this, I couldn't help but order a Ganzo knife. I wanted to see if I like autos without spending the benchmade price yet. I love this knife. I have only been carrying it a week but so far so good. for 30.00 shipped its hard to beat.
