I have always thought that was the chief value Trump offered: breaking the choke hold the left has on the language. We are not allowed to say certain things. Trump says them and is not struck down as their priests claim. Real change won't come from Trump winning. It will come from those who follow, people who, seeing he survived and even prospered by speaking "blasphemy", stand up and move the ball forward. What Trump does in office is, IMO, less important that the symbolism of him defeating the PC police and the media. 2018 will be the real issue, when candidates are less afraid to challenge the leftist orthodoxy because Trump has proved it is possible to do so and not merely survive, but thrive.
