Obama White House counsel part of early talks on Clinton email release, notes show
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/05/obama-white-house-counsel-part-early-talks-on-clinton-email-release-notes-show.html The Obama administrations White House counsel was directly involved in deliberations over the release of Hillary Clinton emails as early as spring 2015, according to handwritten FBI agent notes released by the bureau late Friday. The notes read: "Pat Kennedy (early May '15) calls interagency MTG (meeting) re: scheduled release by JAN '16, asking quick turnarounds - WH Counsel, CIA, etc...OSD, DNI, NSC and (redacted)" |

Judge Orders Text Of Clinton Emails On Benghazi To Be Released
http://www.westernjournalism.com/judge-orders-text-clinton-emails-benghazi-released/ "The full contents of two Hillary Clinton emails about the Benghazi attack will soon be brought to light in the wake of a federal judge’s ruling Friday that the State Department has to share with the American people the contents of two emails sent two days after the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Libya. The release of the information was secured by the watchdog group Judicial Watch, which had sued the State Department through the Freedom of Information Act. “The full emails may reveal what former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama knew about the Sept. 11, 2012, terror attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi,” Judicial Watch said in a statement." |

Some of the wording in Rosenstein's memo gives me goose bumps. "Newly confirmed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein penned an extensive memo for Attorney General Jeff Sessions outlining concerns with Comeys conduct during and after the Clinton email probe. The memo said "almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes". Rosenstein wrote that he could not defend Comeys handling of the end of the investigation, and could not understand "his refusal to accept the nearly universal judgment that he was mistaken."" "The memo said: The Director laid out his version of the facts for the news media as if it were a closing argument, but without a trial. Rosenstein called it a textbook example of what prosecutors and agents are taught not to do." |
|
It could have been so easy for him. All he needed to do was recommend an indictment, based on the evidence.
But he wanted to play games. So he finds out he's fired from CNN. |
|
I go to bed tonight praying that there is still a rule of law here in the US. I pray that Sessions does the right thing and convicts HRC's ass.

Comey influenced by bogus Russian document, report says http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/24/comey-influenced-by-bogus-russian-document-report-says.html "A phony Russian document influenced the way the FBI handled the investigation into Hillary Clintons server, according to The Washington Post. FBI Director Comey Knew Info in Clinton Email Case Was Faked by Russian Intelligence: Sources http://ktla.com/2017/05/26/fbi-director-comey-knew-info-in-clinton-email-case-was-faked-by-russian-intelligence-sources/ "Then-FBI Director James Comey knew that a critical piece of information relating to the investigation into Hillary Clintons email was fake created by Russian intelligence but he feared that if it became public it would undermine the probe and the Justice Department itself, according to multiple officials with knowledge of the process. As a result, Comey acted unilaterally last summer to publicly declare the investigation over without consulting then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch while at the same time stating that Clinton had been extremely careless in her handling of classified information. His press conference caused a firestorm of controversy and drew criticism from both Democrats and Republicans." |

Sen. Lindsey Graham: Comey needs to be ‘held accountable’ over Clinton investigation decisions
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2017/05/28/sen-lindsey-graham-comey-needs-to-be-held-accountable-over-clinton-investigation-decisions/ "Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) said Sunday that he wants to review a document that then-FBI Director James B. Comey used as the reasoning behind his unusual public closure in July of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified material as secretary of state. According to a report last week in The Washington Post, Comey believed the document was generated by Russian operatives and designed to create a false appearance that the Justice Department had assured Clinton’s presidential campaign that the investigation into her private email server would not result in criminal charges. FBI officials cited that document as a factor in Comey’s decision to be the public face in closing the case, including unusual statements deeply critical of Clinton even though she was not facing charges. The fear among FBI officials was that then-Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch, an appointee of the Obama administration, who had recently had a private meeting with Bill Clinton, would be caught in a compromised situation if she were the one closing the case and then the allegedly fake document was made public." |

Judicial Watch: New Clinton Emails Show Classified Information Sent to Clinton Foundation Employees http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-newly-released-emails-reveal-classified-information-transmitted-hillary-clinton-unsecure-server-clinton-foundation-employees/ "(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch today released 2,078 pages of documents revealing more instances of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sending and receiving classified information via an unsecured email server. They also show Clintons daughter Chelsea and others involved with the Clinton Foundation receiving special favors from Huma Abedin, the former secretarys deputy chief of staff. The records were obtained in response to a court order from a May 5, 2015, lawsuit filed against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)) after it failed to respond to a March 18, 2015, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking: All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-state.gov email address. The new documents included 115 Clinton email exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to at least 432 emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over to the State Department. These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, as far as she knew, all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department." |

caller.com/2017/06/11/dem-senator-wants-investigation-into-lynch-interference-on-clinton-email-investigation/ "Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein called for the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate former attorney general Loretta Lynch instructing James Comey to mislead the public about the Clinton email investigation. Comey testified on Thursday that Lynch instructed him, without explanation, to call the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use a private email server as secretary of a state a “matter” instead of an investigation. Lynch’s request, Comey said, made him feel “queasy” as it appeared she was “looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way the political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate.”" ETA: Better story - http://nypost.com/2017/06/11/top-democrat-calls-for-investigation-of-loretta-lynchs-clinton-probe/ |

Shit's getting real.
Trump accuses Lynch of 'illegal' behavior in Clinton email case http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/13/trump-accuses-lynch-illegal-behavior-in-clinton-email-case.html "President Trump on Tuesday accused former Attorney General Loretta Lynch of "illegal" behavior in her handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's secret email server, alleging the ex-top cop provided "protection" for the Democratic presidential nominee. The president drew attention to Lynch ahead of a Senate hearing where his own AG, Jeff Sessions, is set to testify on the Russia investigation. Trump's tweet appeared to draw on the related June 8 testimony of former FBI Director James Comey -- whom Trump controversially fired. Comey revealed to Congress that Lynch told him to call the investigation a "matter" when speaking to the press and said he was also troubled by Lynch's meeting on a Phoenix tarmac with former President Bill Clinton. Comey was so disturbed by the incidents, he held a press conference himself to discuss the case before presenting his findings to Lynch. "A.G. Lynch made law enforcement decisions for political purposes...gave Hillary Clinton a free pass and protection. Totally illegal!" Trump tweeted." |
|
There is one glaring problem with all of Comey's claims that he was acting on his own to protect the case from political influence - he did exactly what they wanted done. He's a never-trumper piece of shit. No doubt, he leaked this story too.
Comey reportedly confronted Lynch over Clinton email probe involvement http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/14/comey-reportedly-confronted-lynch-over-clinton-email-probe-involvement.html "Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly told members of Congress that he had a frosty exchange with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch last year when he discussed her possible interference in the FBIs investigation into Hillary Clintons private email server. Circa reported that in a closed session following Comeys testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last Thursday, the fired FBI director told lawmakers he confronted Lynch over a sensitive document reportedly suggesting she had agreed to stop any Clinton prosecution. " During the closed-door conversation, Comey reportedly told lawmakers Lynch looked at the document and then looked up with a steely silence -- and directed Comey to leave her office. ETA: This is one of the things he said that he couldn't talk about until the closed- door hearing. Then it leaks from the hearing. |

"Senate Republicans are clamoring to hear from Loretta Lynch after former FBI Director James Comey raised concerns about her involvement in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are seizing on Comey’s testimony earlier this month that he was concerned over the former attorney general telling the FBI to refer to the Clinton investigation as a "matter," which resembled the Clinton campaign line." |

State Department probes Clinton handling of government emails, could pull her security clearance http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/20/state-department-probes-clinton-handling-government-emails-could-pull-her-security-clearance.html "The State Department has opened a formal inquiry into whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while she was the nations top diplomat, Fox News has learned. Despite being under investigation, Clinton and her staffers still have security clearances to access sensitive government information. The departments investigation aims to determine whether Clinton and her closest aides violated government protocols by using her private server to receive, hold and transmit classified and top-secret government documents. The department declined to say when its inquiry began, but it follows the conclusion of the FBIs probe into the matter, which did not result in any actions being taken against Clinton or any of her aides." |

Whatever happened with that IT guy that was maintaining that email server. iIRC he posted on a forum (maybe reddit) asking how to strip header information from bulk emails. He even posted the IP address of the server...which resolved to Hillary's server. I'm pretty sure after he did that, there's no telling who was probing or got access to that box.
