Gentlemen,

For some reason, the off season has made me cantankerous and snippy; I don't know if it is the weather (I appear to have no temperature outside  this morning 0° F), the Presidential primaries, or the death of Scalia.

I would like to take this moment to publicly apologize to all you upstanding and gentile race fans for publicly insulting Slim_88 in the Sprint Unlimited thread last night.  That was uncalled for and not in keeping with the high level of civility and decorum that the AR15.com Official NASCAR threads have become known for in recent times.

Slim_88, I apologize for my untoward remark.  MrHold, I apologize for attempting to usurp your precedence in Official NASCAR threads.

I ask all of your forgiveness and acceptance of this public display of remorse for my malfeasance and deplorable behavior.

I wish all of you an enjoyable and respectful 2016 NASCAR racing season.

with the utmost of respect and politeness,

CarbineDad

Going to first race this year, Bristol night race.

Pretty excited for that.

What have I watched for the past 4 months of Sundays?

Good sir, your apology is accepted. I took no offense, and did not feel insulted.

May the 20 car find Victory Lane a second home this season, and may the 22 car find the wall frequently.

Your opinion in duly noted and that is all they had at the store in between the house and the big farm.

To paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld you go with breakfast you have not with breakfast you want.

Also I am now a bigger fan of Petty Racing.
