I had blackened grouper at a Hilton resort on Marco Island around 2007. Literally the best fish I have ever eaten and I love seafood.

Saltwater? Cobia, then Yellowtail Snapper a very close 2nd. Better when I catch it (obviously.)
Freshwater? Walleye. That reminds me, I need to see if Culver's has the Walleye sandwich back yet. Don't laugh, it's amazing. |

Hogfish next would b amberjack. The jack has to be fresh though as in caught that same day.

|
Cobia, hands down. Then Yellowtail Snapper and Gag Grouper.
They go great with Manatee and Bald Eagle |

Bunch a fru fru, citified, nancy boys up here, The only acceptable answer is catfish with hushpuppies and fries that were fried in the stinky oil the fish were fried in and chased by prestigious amounts of PBR. View Quote Prodigious or prestigious? With catfish, I would vote on the former. We have a place near here that makes the little Okeechobee catfish. YUM You eat it right off the bone and have a perfect little skeleton. |

I had to finally bring them inside on 01/02/2016. I have them all indoors in the basement in a 300 gallon stock tank. The 12 Channel catfish together weigh 18.7 pounds. I have a home-made 15 gallon canister filter and my ammonia and nitrite levels are both zero so it's working well. The water temperature last night was only 58F and room temperature is 65F. They are eating well and everything is going according to plan to breed them in the spring. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Salmon would be my choice. But I've never been to any restaurant that has ever been able to prepare it well. I love almost any fish I've ever eaten. I think a lot/most restaurants use farmed salmon. Nasty! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile 75% I would say. I ask what they have for wild caught and if they don't I pass. |

Fried Bass is the only fish I like to eat. I'm more of a chicken and beef guy.

Fresh halibut. Especially the ones that are just a little too small to be legal.
