Prepare yourself for the unequaled awesomeness of Gravity Grip:

The Vertical Fore grip is on the cutting edge of technology. At the blink of an eye, the Gravity Grip has a quick release to detach it from your picatinny and weaver style rails.
At the touch of a button a Gravity Spike falls into position and locks awaiting your commands to dispatch a waiting sentry. Just as quick it will close and lock. Graviry Grip can also be used as a mono-pod to stabilize your weapon in almost any harsh terrain.

BTW: typos in original.

And, best of all, the price: only $300.00 (plus shipping).

Holy moly!

That's the thing that gets me the most about these products. 87% Of the time they are not just stupid but really freaking expensive. That polished aluminum pistol grip almost looks like something I might put on a flashy rifle. But I won't because I already know it's probably $150 or so.

Exactly.

I mean, how would you be better served, by spending $300 on that spike thing, or putting that towards more ammo for practice, extra magazines, or towards a good-quality optic?

Many instances of locking the bolt back unintentionally, also I've heard cases of it breaking off the bolt releases. I tried one once and didn't keep it very long however I never experienced any issues, I just didn't like it.

I've seen a guy hocking those at the gun show, I believe he said he invented it.

Camber the safety round, which was designed to fire a plastic round and get stuck in the barrel. Not enough power to cycle a pistol.

So in theory, your child gets your gun, you hear the pop and then know the child is playing with a gun and it scares the child from trying to fire it again.

If travon breaks in at night, you have to remember to cycle out the the safety round before firing.

Nobody was buying it.

My favorite is when someone is shooting a pimped out gun at a match and they act like they don't even know what it's for.

you bought the thing and stuck it on there, but you're yanking the charging handle to drop the bolt after every fresh mag?

I wouldn't mind having one on my .308 bench gun that i single load occasionally, but that's about it.
