My dad took me to the NHRA drags at OCIR when I was a kid.
One time a guy blew up his blower right on the line. It went straight up and shit went flying everywhere. Me and a few of the kids were running around in the stands picking up pieces of the blower. |

It's been years since I've seen a top fuel car run. I did make it to a few races last year.
I think I'll take my 15 year old son to BIR this year for the NHRA Nationals. We took this video last summer. Rod Hendrickson and Doug Hecker are really fun to watch. 2015 GS Nationals |
