The title says it all. Comments please. View Quote Absolutely yes and I don't understand why some arfcommers are voting for him in the primaries over Hillary. Sanders is nothing but a communist who seeks to literally level the playing field for everyone and implement socialist policies that will increase are debt many fold, while at the same time "level the playing field" by stealing money from the rich and giving it away to social programs. Theres an analysis out there by a source that isn't one of the looney sites that claims that a Sanders tax plan will have everyone seeing a 10% salary reduction over time. Thats a fairly significant amount, and will certainly make things more difficult for me in terms of saving for retirement. I look at the people that support Sanders, some of whom are people I associate with in various activities and lately only look at them with disgust. A large number of them are men and women in the 40s and 50s who are struggling and think that a Sanders presidency will improve their lot in life. You know what though? It's their own fucking fault they are where they are at now. Some of them I knew in my 20's, and while I was going to college and improving myself, they were the ones that were more interested in hanging out, partying, smoking dope, happy with jobs that were not quite so demanding on their free time,(i.e. straight 9-5 jobs as opposed to a career type job that requires many more hours than 40 a week), etc.. Fuck the lot of them... |

It troubles me that an avowed Socialist won by so wide a margin last night. The results of last night's primary was a dose of reality for me. This entire time, I have been thinking to myself. "There is no way a Socialist can be elected in this country at this point in time." However, I am now convinced that we are in more trouble than I allowed myself to admit. I have been questioning how this many people can support an avowed Socialist, especially those in the younger age bracket. but it occurs to me that a significant change has happened in this country. No time to spend trying to figure it out...just have to prepare for an interesting future.

I fear Hillary more, because I think she may be able to actually get things done. I think Bernie would be pretty impotent, as even a large portion of the democrat party elites hate him.
What really scares me more than anything about Bernie is how he's gotten this far. Like it or not (and for whatever reason) the wealth gap is getting farther and farther apart. As more of the top .001% get more and more of the wealth, and at the same time wages and salaries stay stagnant, the populist/socialist/communist shit is going to hit the fan sooner or later. I don't know what to do about it, or exactly what's causing it, but I know if the middle class keeps getting crushed and the billionaires keep getting richer and richer (while middle class incomes stay flat or go down), the common old broke Joe will make a push for socialism. Get mad, call me full of shit, but it's going to happen. And is scares the hell out me. |

So what does Bernie mean by "revolution?"
Is he going to use government power to seize private property and assets? Does he just want to go full bore European Socialist retard and take land, homes, businesses, raid bank accounts and retirements? Ron Paul used "revolution" language a lot, too.
I'm probably looking at this niavely, but I feel that a Sander presidency brings a lot less uknowns than a HRC presidency does.
