Never shot SOF, but i did shoot some of Kyle Lambs 3 gun matches in NC.

Now this looks like my kind of match. I've got the Camo, old web gear and holsters, the BHPs and a Mossberg, I just need a MBR. Unless I redo an AR like an old CAR.
And I want a damn crossbow stage, dammit!  |

If it makes you feel any better I remember watching one of the old school 3 gun matches on TV back in the 90's & that was one of the things that got me shooting 3 gun when I got done with grad school in '06. Course, I was in my early teens when I saw it.

I probably still have that magazine.
Those matches showed that semi-auto shotguns had fewer failures than pumps. People tend to short cycle pump actions. |

I know a guy who shot one year and won a ton of stuff . I liked the rules because all blind stages and no walk through at all .

Hi guys!
The RESURGENCE 3-Gun is being put on by arfcom members vngunfighter and myself, along with some old codgers who I don't think ever figured out how to log on the internets. We've been running outlaw 3-gun, multigun, long-range team matches, and sniper/adventure race stuff for the last 15 or so years and decided it was time to run a "back to its roots" 3-gun match. Most of the staff we have on tap either shot or RO'd the original SOF matches, and some of the core staff was involved in running the last couple matches before it went defunct. http://resurgence3gun.com/ It's gonna be great.
