These are two of my favorites but unfortunately they're both too pretty to use. . . . my EDC is a Benchmade Lerch 3150 and for fixed blade I have a Jericho Blade Works I enjoy (doubles as a hatchet!) Doug Ritter Mini Grip. . . if it wasn't so peeeerrrtty I'd probably actually use it http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc33/weckerm/Pic1_zps910a21b0.jpg This is a Bill Akers Backwoods Custom http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc33/weckerm/20150918_132535_zpsxshwphr9.jpg View Quote I carry a doug ritter mini grip regularly. What are your criteria and price ranges? Or just buy the two knives I posted and be truly happy Thanks, I'll take a look at both of those. I was looking for a fixed blade, as well as a locking folder w/ thumb assist. Blade length on the folder, 3-4" Price range for the fixed blade, $300 +/- , Folder $150 +/- Both should hold a decent edge. Just looked at the Southard. That's a good looking knife but, it is pushing the upper limits on price. |

No picture right now, but I've been carrying a benchmade auto triage for a while now. I love it, but I'll be getting something smaller soon for daily carry and carry the triage at work.
On a slightly related note, I got my new to me surefire echo in the mail today. It'll probably end up staying in my truck or in a get home bag. |
