Mine - a beat all to hell Kershaw Blur

_DSC4805-w by Zack, on Flickr

I've had this for a few years now, carry it every day and use it nearly every day. Previous was a CRKT M1.

What's your daily go-to knife?

I'm currently carrying a CRKT BT70 clipped to my right pocket, CRKT Heiho clipped to my left pocket, and my TDI Last Ditch is laced into my left boot.  Usually the BT70 is swapped out for an M21-14G, but I was feeling like changing it up today.

Why do I carry so many knives?  Everything besides the BT70 weighs next to nothing and is perfectly hidden.  Why NOT?  Besides, I like knives on the left side of my body.  I spent just enough time in BJJ to know how to use a guard in a fight and maybe attempt a submission.  My right hand is going to be defending, my left will be going for knives.

After several decades of carrying primarily Spyderco Dragonfly folders, as of the early part of January I've been EDCing an ESEE Candiru fixed blade.  With an AZWelke kydex sheath, it seems to carry easier in my pocket than the Dragonfly does folded.  I now have three of them I rotate through.

New knife, got it around Christmas. Need to work on the lighting setup.

These are two of my favorites but unfortunately they're both too pretty to use. . . . my EDC is a Benchmade Lerch 3150 and for fixed blade I have a Jericho Blade Works I enjoy (doubles as a hatchet!)

Doug Ritter Mini Grip. . . if it wasn't so peeeerrrtty I'd probably actually use it

This is a Bill Akers Backwoods Custom

This Randall Model 8 Trout and Bird knife
leaves a lot to be desired for dressing trout

and birds.....too thick.  I've always thought Bo Randall

had limited experience using his sporting blades for

the purpose for which they were designed.

That said, this is my overall favorite fixed blade.

Small enough to be unobtrusive, large enough to

be versatile.

This knife has dressed dozens of deer, coyote, turkey.

It has been on my belt for hundreds of hikes and other outings.

Always did what I needed.

I have the little red fucker and the Browning Black Label w/ G10 grips on me at all times. Once in a while I'll trade in the Browning for the spring assist Kershaw for carry. But 90 percent of the time im carrying the Browning. The KA-BAR is my baby though. God knows if I ever needed to bring a knife to a gunfight, I'm grabbing my fucking KA-BAR. Oh yeah I have a KA-BAR neck knife I carry from time to time as well.

I'd be real interested in hearing more details about the knife and scandi style canoe axe.

Both look very handy. The axe looks like a very closed hang, but the edge is almost parallel to the haft which is odd to me.
