I dropped my SA TRP like the second day I had it. It happens. It sucks for sure, but shit happens.
eta: mine got knocked off the bench at the range |
Uh oh. It's trashed now. I'll give you $20 for your uh scrap metal.
How long did it take you to search 1911 Kimber TRP grips, from the point of impact until hitting enter?
I fucked up the finish on my TLE slide while field stripping the gun in my truck like an idiot 8 months ago ad it still bothers me, and will until I send it to WC to refinish. |

pitch that cherry down the driveway.
act like you OWN da bitch. |
First time I had my nighthawk out after getting it back from refinishing, I somehow caught it on my shirt and sent it flying through the gravel. Meh, shit happens.

I just got a new Ipad.It now has a dent crushing the corner in where it slipped out of my hand on the way into work. I swear the shit is scripted. |

Do you people Mexican carry for your shit to just fall out when you catch it on something?
At least it was you who caused the damage.
One of the many times my kimber was in for repair they dropped it on concreate fucking the slide up big time and they boxed it right up and sent it back to me. |

I had a Glock 30 go sliding down the driveway. Not a scratch on it.

I have never dropped my carry, manage to always keep it secure.

Now you'll be able to find yours if you and the other 99 cdp owners in America accidentally toss your guns into a bucket....
No big deal, I'm pretty sure I ran over my Glock 19 with the tractor.

Back when I first got into guns, my very first handgun purchase was a brand new HK USP .40 when they first hit the market.
I proceeded to carry it in a cheap ass shoulder holster made of nylon and empty promises. Walking into blockbuster video in Portland, Oregon one night and the damn thing fell out of the holster and dropped on the concrete. The family of liberal, kale eating, hemp wearing hipsters that saw it happen had the most horrified look on their faces that I've ever seen. I felt stupid, but kinda glad I made some liberal heads explode when I calmly picked it up, re-holstered it, and walked into the video store. Haven't dropped a gun since. Important lesson learned: Spend a few bucks and get a decent holster. And don't carry in a shoulder holster. Miami vice was just a TV show.. |
My carry gun fell 10 feet onto a concrete floor. It put a ding in it!
Does it fire better?
My two cdps run like shit, despite spending an extra $600 at kimber shop. |
Kimbers are supposed to look good. That's the kind of shit you do with Colts.
Sorry that happened. Mind telling us how it fell out? I carry AIWB every day and I can't fathom a situation short of a crazy rollercoaster ride where it would ever fall out. Not judging......just curious.

If getting out of the car is sufficient to dislodge your weapon from the holster, you need new carry gear ASAP.
how did you accidentally drop it getting out of your car? With a good holster you should be able to do cartwheels and not lose your piece. Were you lap carrying or something
That's good news... Now you can tell yours apart from the thousands of other just like it.... I prefer character marks on my guns, each one is a memory.

It's a Mimber? I'd say the scuff is an improvement. Hahaha, MIMber. I get it. Never heard that one until now. Lol. I hit the "M" by accident. A lot of folks did call them that back in the day, though. Yeah, OP, you need a new and better holster ASAP. Ditch that Uncle Mike's bullshit. |
