Yup.  The reason for the traffic stop was not immediately disclosed because fuck your rights citizens!

I think we need to cut the police staff by about half across the country.  Maybe they will be too busy doing real police work at that point to make the news so often.

My solution to asset forfeiture is to change the law so that money so seized will be held a few months so the owner can attempt to get it back.

After a while, if he doesn't, burn it.

Burn baby burn!

This is bullshit.

Me and my son were on our way to pick up a one of one 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi 4 speed in mint condition, all numbers marching,
With less than 200 miles on the odometer.

Owner wanted 1.3 mil.

I brought cash because I was going to offer 800k cash and see if I could get it for less than 1.3 by paying cash.

Why should I have to answer to where I am going with my money?

(Ok, this is not true, but you can have a lot less swiped and seized and not get it back from this bull shit.  I have rolled with 26k to get a car,
And that could could be seized to.  WTF is America now?)

That's why they charge the property with the crime. Property doesn't have a right to due process. Never mind that somebody owns it.

Assuming they said that, how does that give anyone else the right to take it?

ETA: And there are more than a few people who said the property was theirs, and still lost it. So that doesn't make any real difference. If the cops want to steal it, they will steal it whatever they say.

Only a drug dealer would try that kind of dodge to deflect attention from himself. That's all the proof we need, so time to take his money.
