There are only two places that can put me to sleep like a baby... the older 4 blade C-130's at 30,000 feet or a Humvee at idle ... outside of that I suffer

I am trying to get things situated throughout the house, but especially the reloading room. I bought a 686 the other day, so I now I have to figure out a way to fit all the .38 Special paraphenalia. At work, we have these heavy duty metal cabinets that would be perfect. EDIT: technically, it's my day off too. I just took the dogs for their walk and fed them. Got the Depeche Mode playlist on YouTube playing in the background. Saw my X-BIL, and some other X-relation at a small mom and pop burger joint last night. They didn't see me, so I egressed quickly before shit went south in a hurry. It could have gone really bad really quickly. I feel like I dodged one. |

Today is starting out pretty good.
I slept in until 4:50am with a total of 7 hours sack time. Unusual for me during the dark months. Coffee and an apple fritter have been consumed. Wood stove is filled & heating the *Halfway House nicely. On today's agenda: Reload 300 6mmX45 cases with 58gr V-Max bullets. That'll total up 1300 rounds because someone has to blow up prairie dogs this summer. Replace two outlets. *Halfway House is what we've named our home. Since my wife is in prison (work) the house is situated halfway to work & halfway to her dad's...hence "Halfway House". I often refer to it as The Housing Project. Fortunately I have nearly all the remodeling done...until my wife gets another idea from HGTV.  Life is good. Have I entertained you for a few minutes? |

Kitty decided to wake me up at 3am.
Officially up at 3:45. Only half day at work. Our Dorky Dog, a 10 year old Papillon has an injured back paw. He's coming to work with me. When the vet opens we're off to get him back to his dorky self. I'm hoping the morning gets better after the visit to the vet. |
