Talked to Doug a couple of days ago..for every hill he climbs..he seems to face another one.
The good news..he has been without transportation for over a year as he sold his car to pay for medication. A very good friend of his bought, made road worthy and gave him a vehicle not long ago...he called me on the cell phone one of you awesome folks provided him from his car..on his first drive on his own in a very long time.. again..I wish you all could hear his voice..and the wonderful change in it from the first time I talked to him. As of that phone call he was waiting to hear from the surgeon. The bad news..he is having medical issues again (I won't go into detail) which might have landed him back in the hospital. He hasn't replied to my text and there is no answer on his phone as of today. This is the same issue that put him in the hospital before and will no doubt happen again until he has the surgery. I will let you folks know when I hear from him again. |

Since it is a failed mesh, surely the hospital and mesh supplier are on the hook for this???
Is there an attorney involved? This is exactly why the docs, hospitals, etc have insurance. If there ever was something that should be paid for, it's this type of thing. |

Doug and I are becoming experts at telephone tag...
I work shift work and he is awake when he is awake..we've been trading text messages. He's slowly getting better...the good news is..he has home care coming in to help him...which is a huge relief for him as he was alone before.. |
