Even though you may have never met us in person you have many friends here......we're all pulling for a swift recovery

Prayers sent. Keep us updated on how you are doing.
When do you visit with the surgeon? |

If you did not go to the best cancer hospital within 500 miles of you, then go there and get a second opinion.

The one diagnosis we all fear. Stay strong and believe that you will kick it's butt! Research the one doctor that is writing all the books on your type and go see them.
One of my clients is a renown oncologist. He told me honestly that some people beat cancer when they "couldn't" possibly beat it. He said it was a mystery how they beat it but he believed it was purely willpower. Best to you and your family! |

Stay strong, and hopefully treatment options will be available close to where you live.
If not, try to get someone to drive you to where you need to be, while treatment occurs. Get family and/or friends involved, as sometimes you will just be in a daze, and you will want someone taking notes about your treatment, whatever that may be. Best wishes. |

Prayers to you and your family. Remember to go see the best doctors.....even if that means traveling.

Quoted: Please say a prayer for me. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer today. I have a 6 year old son and I cannot imagine not being able to see him grow up. The doctor says it is operable and my chances of survival are good but i am very scared right now. View Quote God Bless OP. |

The woman we got my dog from had pancreatic cancer.
When we saw her about 7 years later she was doing all right. If your doc says it looks good, go with that. Good luck and prayers out. |

Thanks everyone for all the good thoughts. I believe in God and the power of prayer. Thank you so much. I am in the lowcountry, but I have family here and more on the way. they are keeping me comfortable. Sudden abdominal pain and severe problems digesting and passing food. PLEASE GET CHECKED OUT IF YOU THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG. If your body changes suddenly and doesn't go away, your body is telling you something is wrong. Praying for you. Keep us posted. Talk it out here, many have seen this play out before. God Bless.

Know in your heart that our father gave us the power to "will" things.
Tell those rouge cells to get back in line. Bless you brother. |

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Stay strong in both mind, spirit and body. I know some on here may not agree with religion, but miracles do happen. God bless

Prayers sent.
Also please do the surgery ASAP. I know PC cancer is very deadly, but a co-worker of mine had it, caught it early, had the surgery and so far after over 8 years is clear (considered cured, but vigilant). If caught early it can be beat. You can beat this by the sounds of it. God speed. |

It's normal to be afraid. Don't let fear get the best of you! Prayers have been sent, and many more forthcoming from mine to yours.

Payers sent.
I lost my grandma to pancreatic cancer but they fought it late and that was almost 15 years ago. I am sure they have made tremendous advancements in treatments. I hope you have a speedy and full recovery. |
|
It's operable.
Chances of survival are good. Sounds like you'll be OK. Do your due diligence, but don't stress yourself and stay positive. |
