Kvyat enters the corner with excessive speed.. it's not the overtaking the issue, but the following trajectory... he ends up completely at the outside (Left ) of the track... where Vettel and kimi would have been if vettel didnt try to give him more room (Touching kimi unfortunately ) Long story short if vettel didn't open his trajectory we would have had Kvyat colliding in both vettel and kimi at the end of the corner... |

It is great seeing 3 different teams on the podium! Rosberg is 100% earning these wins with the along with the equipment he has and is out-driving Lewis. It's too bad he's such a boring winner. Finally watched it. in French, unfortunately.
Vettel put on a clinic in overtaking. Hamilton too, to a lesser extent, but they both did really well to climb back to their finishing positions. |

Surprised no one is praising Kimi's drive. He was essentially last place on lap one and finished in 5th. Vettle was no lower than 7th-ish (other than drivers leap-frogging due to pitting) and finished 2nd without having to contend with Lewis.

Excellent drive by Kimi. Probably the top drive of the race. Vettel had a damn good run too. I'm a Ferrari guy but that incident between Vettel and Kimi can be filed away under shit happens. It was a wild move but not against the rules nor in bad taste. Kimi had no clue vettel had no room low and that "mad man" had no clue vettel was going to run out of room going high.
I say a ballsy pass amd a good pass. We need more action like that. Best race I've seen in quite a while. I'm just ignoring German asspipe from Germany winning it all till someone gets competitive with them. I don't know why exactly but I can't stand that guy. Never did like hin. |

The F1 boss said the sport is "trying” to arrange a new street race in Las Vegas in addition to the existing round at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Asked how many races F1 needs in America, Ecclestone said "really and truly we need at least six.” However he indicated a proposed race in New Jersey, which was first planned for 2013, will not go ahead. This year’s record 21-race calendar could continue to expand in the future, Ecclestone indicated. "I suppose in the end we could have 25 races,” he said. "The problem what restricts it is the teams because at the moment the staff’s all on the limit. So we have to be careful.” Along with an increase in American rounds of the championship, Ecclestone also wants to see F1 return to South Africa. "They’re rebuilding Kyalami so we’re going to have a look at it again,” he said. Ecclestone also reiterated his view that Formula One does not need to retain races in Europe including the German Grand Prix, which was missing from last year’s calendar. Would be pretty awesome to have it wind around the Strip. We were there last Fall when they were prepping for the Vegas round of the Red Bull Air Races, and blocked-off part of Las Vegas Blvd to land and take-off a plane there.
