Wanting to upgrade three of my AR triggers. I'll be watching this thread

In a war...things move quickly.
Sorry for drawing the hate. Not really. |

My one AR has the Rock River two stage in it. I could stand to upgrade t'other... or both, if it turns out that way...
|

Mark, I believe the Geisselle is the best trigger for the money.
Put yours on sale and change my mind. I need a new LT hat anyway |
|
|
Thank you Mark, Just watching and waiting. I'll be buying 2+ if the price is right.....
And I'm sure it will more than right....... Ps. You rock ! Hope you had a great Christmas ! |
|
Having a SSA and an SSA-E I have to say I am much more likely to buy another 3.5lb trigger, but not a 4.5lb trigger. To me it makes a world of difference.
All that being said I may have to keep my eyes open for a sale on an upper/trigger combo from LaRue... |

I'm very confused.
Is there a trigger sale? Or a new trigger? Or both? |

Wish I had ordered 2 instead of just one. So.....Mark, about this sale?!?! |
|
All I'm waiting on is another sale. I missed the first sale back when they were introduced. With three kids birthdays between 24 Nov and 5 Jan, along with Christmas shopping for my family of 6 and the various expenses associated with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, this recent sale wasn't in the cards for me. I do have a couple of gift cards burning a hole and I'm in the market for at least 2 more triggers. I would love to give the MBT a shot; just need to get it at a price that's more conducive for my budget. Someone IM me if these go on sale again.

Remember who needs who in this situation. On one of the sales you missed, we sold over 1,400 triggers in that Father's Day sale in right at 2 hours. I am not trying to sell triggers here, they are selling themselves. But I am trying to keep up with the Jones' on pricing, what the market will bear and all that, plus we've got that setup smoothing out some 7,000 triggers later ... so we got a little wiggle room opening up if there's a price war going on. And if the competition has decided on a continuous sales strategy ... |

Are the MBTs ok to use with .22 conversion kits?
The reason I ask is I have one of the RRA 2 stage triggers and I read that they don't work well with .22 conversions. Something to do with harsher recoil from the .22 blowback can battering the hammers. |
|
Wait, what? The MBT sold for $125 for Father's Day. Damn, I missed out. I have two SSA triggers and was contemplating and SSA-E, or whatever it's called, but now I'm looking at the MBT. If there's a sale, I think I may have to jump in on that.

Just found a lower today I forgot I needed to build up. An MBT would be a fine start to an excellent build.

Love all three, don't even have much of a preference between them, actually. When they break that cleanly and smoothly, there isn't much room for improvement. That said, I don't doubt for a second that LaRue can make a trigger that is just as good. I have a LT104 scope mount and have been nothing but pleased with it over the years. The competition brewing between these companies can only mean good things are coming for us shooters. So for me, from now on when it comes to Geissele vs LaRue, the "better" trigger will likely be the least expensive of the two. |

This thread is relevant to my interests. I have a couple lowers in need of triggers.

What am I even doing in this thread?
I have two Geissele triggers and zero MBT triggers. I have three LaRue mounts on my patrol rifle right next to me though. If given the right price, I would gladly buy one and try it to compare. Mark, send me a trigger to drop in my work rifle and do an eval on:) I've already sold several mounts for your company, I bet I could sell a few triggers as well for the new guys building rifles! |

I had to eat peeps and puke for mine. This sounds like a bargain.
