I might switch barrels back to 5.56. Subsonic .300 was kinda cool at first but I'm thinking at the range it's useful I might as well use my suppressed .22 rifle its quieter and cheaper.

.22 is not legal for deer in many states.

suppressed .300 blackout gives you the possibility to fill out your tags in about 2 minutes...

i know what you mean, i got into 300BLK for the subs and ended up allocating it for supersonic close range hog hunting and whitetail for a particular short range property. I have a case of gorilla 220gr subs I plan to zero my IRD MKII to for pest control on the property for fun after deer season. If it was not for hunting I would have sold my 300BLK upper already.

Just finished building my first one.




Have some supers and some subs inbound to play with.  I intend to make it my coyote gun.
