You don't have to be passionate about being anti-gun, once you put those D votes in, you put the ball in the court of people (politicians) that are passionate about disarming citizens.  Unless a majority of minorities start becoming politically conservative, it won't matter whether or not they believe in gun rights.

We even have a few people on this sight who are passionate about firearms that will be voting for Bernie, how do you think somebody that is kind of on the fence about it, but likely easily swayed by free shit and the "white people are evil, and Republicans are the party of white people" rhetoric that will be shoved down their throat?

Except for the fact that this generation is much more pro gun than the last generation.

Computer games have helped, but Bloomberg, Obama, Fienstein, Biden, and Jesse Jackson are getting older and less effective pushing gun control every year.

Pro gun control networks like CNN and MSNBC have terrible ratings, becuase people are waking up the the truth- witness the record NICS checks.

A lot of you clearly don't understand history. It's all doom and gloom with you guys. Even if the leftists theoretically achieve their goal and exterminate all whites and there's socialist utopia everywhere in the world, it won't always be that way.

I don't believe that black people (and other racial minorities) are by nature anti-gun. It's the elitist "opinion leaders" among them -- professional politicians, community organizers, clergy, academics, and media types -- that are anti-gun. When it comes to voting, minorities tend to follow their opinion leaders more than white people do. That's the legacy of the "siege mentality" in the minority communities. They see themselves as inherently unequal, and so they tend to circle the wagons.

That's why I think that grass-roots evangelizing of minorities by the pro-gun side -- bypassing the "opinion leaders" -- can pay big dividends. Treat them as equals, don't label them as "thugs" without proof, and you may end up with valuable allies.

Which is why parents need to take a greater part in educating their children, instead of leaving it all up to school.............and I can tell you, I met a black man awhile back, a USMC veteran, who I had the pleasure of talking to about his service and other topics............he emphatically told me that no man will take his gun or his rights. There are many minorities that are becoming more and more pro-gun

Every study and poll I've seen in recent years shows that young people in this country are extremely comfortable with an utterly ridiculous (IMO) amount of government control over their lives. Every one.

Quite a large number of them also have a rather dim view of Western Civilization and Capitalism.

Couple that with the unending influx of non-Western immigrants... it's only a matter of time; not just for gun rights, but for our way of life.

I've always felt that this country's most successful time was the 20 years between 1945 and 1965. Think about what America was like in 1965.

Now think about how different this country is today, just 50 years later. Now ask yourself what it's going to be like in another 50 years... 100 years.

It's difficult (and usually futile) to make predictions about the future. So many variables. Honestly though, we're coming up on 240 years old, and I doubt this country will see another 240, at least in its current incarnation.

I'm 51 with Type 2 diabeetus, I wish they would go ahead jump.  I'm getting too old.

It doesn't matter what their position on the issue is because they will vote Democrat regardless.

It is why all of the immigrants from Central America were given refugee status even though their situation never warranted it, that status gives them a green card and citizenship within five years, a mass infusion of Democrat voters in five years.  It is also why they  were and still are being secretly strategically placed all over the us to alter redistricting in favor of Democrats.

It is why they have already done the exact same thing to over 680,000 Muslim immigrants over the past 5 years, most of whom were also in situations that did not warrant it,  many of whom will be citizens thus voters by the 2016 election and if Obama gets his way 100's of 1000's more will be bought locking up 2020 and beyond.

The Democrats are using the US immigration system to undermine the US election system, and US sovereignty to create a one party system.

Make no mistake these are very very evil twisted people doing very very evil twisted things to their own country, and their own people, the people of the United States.
