Seller saw NY, figured kid would play with it outside, some cop shoots kid thinking it's real, kids parent sues cop, OP and seller for selling/giving the kid the rifle.
You should be thanking that seller op. He may have saved your life

NJ is usually the same way at least with airsoft and shit. But they will let me order the toy gun in the OP.
