Can't speak about the considerable price difference.
It's tolerable ammo; with the inevitable flyers. Try to find something better--and cheaper, if possible. |

Perhaps this scenario... One has 3 cases to sell and really like them. Another has 3000 cases to sell and needs to get them moved... |

I still have a shit load of it. I gave $49.00 a case for it from a local shop. |

It is brass cased , clean and reliable . For $500 a BP I have a whole case for sale

in the face of brand new ZQI which is sub 50 cps and shoots outstanding from 22" barrels (18" not so much) PSA has XM80 for the same price.... I would never pay more than that for .... it's not even NATO spec hence no NATO stamp... it's underpowered.
There's a case on GB right now for $1750.... LOL for a BUCK FIFTY per round why wouldn't you just go buy some premium new production Federal at the LGS? Sellers trying for more than 50 cps are deluded. |

I'm target shooting with the ammo I purchase... I'm not really up on current .308 prices, so I can't offer a good suggestion; I'm sure others will do so. You certainly can target shoot with the SA ammo, but I doubt very much if you will be happy with the results. The inevitable and unpredictable flyers will lower your confidence level, unless you are an accomplished rifleman, and can call your shots. Even given that level of expertise, your scores will suffer. FWIW, the SA ammo is Berdan primed, and so the cases can't be easily reloaded, which is another strike against it. Similar ammo ought to be more expensive, if it is Boxer primed, because the cases are easily reloadable. |
