He never hit the brakes and he was shifting gears.
Seriously though, witnesses report no injuries although I hear the FD just freed the driver from the wreckage. |

Well, to look on the bright side, at least he took out the worst steakhouse in town.

I recall there being a 64 oz steak houses in Amarillo. Eat the steak, spud, salad, bread and you dine free. I wasn't even going to try. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Well, to look on the bright side, at least he took out the worst steakhouse in town. Wish I could tell ya, but I was mostly taking a shot at Outback. I had a good meal at a Saltgrass in Amarillo once, but I have no idea if it's the best. Enjoy your time there, man. I love that part of the state. It's got a very austere kind of beauty. Texas has grown and changed so much in my lifetime. Going to the Panhandle, especially the smaller towns, is like going back to the Texas of my childhood. Except even better, because we didn't have Glocks or CHLs back then. |

I'm actually amazed these things don't happen more often. I've NEVER been a commercial driver, but I've always maintained these guys and gals (the drivers) are the real unsung heroes of our economy and country. |

I guess his table was ready. (I can't believe people actually wait in line to eat there, but that's a topic for another day.) |

Yeah - you can buy it. It's not cheap. It's more like a roast than a steak. |
