Well, from just your list, Beretta is an ICONIC company, and their pistols are a big part of our military history now, like it or not. FWIW, I've never regretted or had any second thoughts concerning a Beretta purchase.

all are good choices but every collection needs a Beretta 92/M9
followed by a CZ 75 as to the Glock 19, I had one but the finger grooves didn't fit me quite as right as my 17 and 34 do, so even though its sacrilegious to Arfcom I sold my Glock 19 |

Hmmm.... M9 in great shape for $450 from a private seller local...
I may have made my decision. |

To do what with? Carry? Nightstand gun? Competition? Fill holes in your collection and/or heart?

I have a couple Ruger MKII's that I failed to mention.
This is just me trying to spend some cash I saved up to spend on a gun. |

Cz po7
or CZ po9. No need for pos 92, block 19 or silly puddy frame fn. |
|
[#16]
Maybe branch out and try a different caliber.
Or if 9mm try a VP9. Or SIG P226. Or scorpion evo3 |

Beretta: Heart CZ: No Idea why FN: See above If you're going to get another Glock, at least get a Glock that wants to be fun like the 34 or the 17L. The G19 is the most over-rated firearm on the face of planet earth, and it doesn't do anything that your G43 or G17 doesn't do better. The Beretta 92 is among my favorites, but many people here love to hate them because reasons. It's a nice shooting gun out of the box, and the most popular mod is a cheap and simple spring swap that makes a significant difference. Even though the design is aging, the market for them seems to be growing. In the last year or so, Beretta has added new product lines, and Wilson Combat has recently started doing stuff with them. If this might be a home defense gun, I'd second the suggestion to look for a railed example. Or try to get a M9A3. I also have a soft spot for CZs. There are reasons why CZs and CZ derivatives rule many of the leader boards and record books for shooting sports. They're really damn good guns, performance wise anyways. The fit and finish isn't always great, especially internally, but their polycoat stuff seems pretty tough. The biggest drawback to a stock CZ is the trigger. It's not terrible, and I'd definitely take it over a Glock, but the single action sear engagement is pretty excessive. That means that, instead of a clean break, there's some resistance and grit as the hammer cams back. The good news is that this can be solved by custom work from CZ Custom or Cajun Gun Works. For the price of a bone stock Sig, you could have a tuned up CZ that I'd personally take over any other handgun in the sub-$1k range and many beyond that price point. The SP-01 is the right choice. That added weight, especially out front on the rail, will keep the muzzle down under recoil and make that gun stupid easy to shoot. The FN? I can't give much input there. I don't think they're bad guns, but I don't see what they bring to the table that others don't do cheaper, better, or both. |

Your going to end up with most of them eventually. In your shoes, I'd go for the used Beretta if it is a m9 then the cz. You can score m9 mags dirty cheap I buy mine from a gun shop for 6.75 a piece.
Or skip those and get a nice sig like the mk25. With the srt it is pure win I don't even shoot my glocks anymore. |

Get a CZ, you'll love it! I never owned a CZ until this past summer. Now I carry my PCR EVERY day. Super accurate. Plan on buying a few more. I've always had Glocks but find that my CZ fits my hand perfectly and feels, weight wise, like a gun should.

You already have a 26 and the 17, why get the middleground, I'd go cz personally.

HK P30, then you can become an HK snob. I just got my first and don't talk to non-HK peasants anymore.

The FN doesn't have any readily available trigger improvement options like most of the others do. And it needs one.

Get the CZ. Similar controls to your BHP. You don't need a Glock 19 since you already have a 17 and a 26.
The beretta would be a good choice also, but it looks like it would be your first and only DA/SA, and while the CZ technically is too, you can treat it like a SAO due to the type of safety it has. |

I might have to utilize the ignore button... They're cool in an old school FPS video game sort of way, and I see good deals on used examples on rare occasions, but for the price they go for new, it's a pretty bad choice. The trigger is terrible, and then there's that proprietary rail issue. |

The Tactical and Expert/Elite models have pretty good triggers, but for whatever reason the 9mm version with the factory threaded barrel doesn't come with the match trigger like the .40sw and .45acp do. |

Old news bra. Now everyone can get in to the HK game with the affordable VP9, one of, if not THE BEST 9mm handgun on the market. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

OP I was literally in your shoes right about this time last year. I chose the SP01.. I am VERY happy with my choice.
That being said, go finger fuck every one of those options and pick the one your hand and trigger finger pick for you. The rest is training and completely irrelevant for this descussion. |

I was a die hard Glock guy until I shot a CZ... Still have my Glocks but they spend a lot of time in the safe now. CZ would get my vote.
