You can prove anything with statistics.
If you look at the crime statistics after the gun control act of 1968, it shows a big increase. At the same time, statistics show a big increase in drug use, especially cocaine. So, which one "caused" the crime increase? Or the drug use increase? I guess you could say the GCA '68 cause an increase in drug use. "There are three types of lies: lies, damn lies and statistics." |

I can not get my head around
"We have too many poorly socialized,poorly educated miscreants and I hate having to pay everything from their hospital delivery to education,health care,welfare,incarceration and their children's hospital delivery" But at the same time "I really wish there were 10 million more people in the same boat and if they only had offspring like rabbits as well that would just be swell". I am blunt and honest about abortion: it isn't nice,it isn't seemly and I can't defend it morally. However,as a practical matter it is a much needed safety valve. I find abortion horrible. It has its place in some cases. Incest, rape, mother's life. As a form of BC. oh hell no.
The nation is right to give the choice because young girls getting coat hangers in the bathroom is just as bad. Let the women make the choices for themselves. The guy shooting up the PP clinic is horrible also. He long ago should have been in an institution from what I have read. |
