Military contracts. There are two main manufacturers for forgings not to mention it would be a compleat pain in the ass to CNC that unless you made it thick and bulky like billet receivers. There's also a mil requirement to be able to remove or open the trigger guard for winter gloves.
I've literally installed well over a thousand and have never screwed one up so I'm not quite sure what the concern is there. |

There are quite a few forged lowers with integrated trigger guards.
I think Noveske was one of the first with their Gen II lowers but even Anderson has one now too. |

If Anderson can make a lower with an integrated trigger guard that sells for $40 then NOBODY has any excuse for making a fucking lower without one. I will NEVER buy another lower from ANYONE but Anderson until they (everyone else) gets their fucking heads out of their asses. |

Waiting to assemble my Spikes Crusader lower that has forged trigger guard. Lower looks nice.

I hate the lowers with the machined in trigger guards. I like to have options on what to use.

I like the option of swapping them for another style,but I wouldn't be opposed to a well thought out integral TG on a lower
