Like in Texas...the SWAT guys who showed up didn't stop until they had emptied the craniums of the two shitheads trying to kill everybody. Police and security duty ammo in Israel is a 9mm semi jacketed soft point. No hollow point or "modern" bullets.
The bad guy had a meat cleaver. I have pics of the ammo somewhere on this computer. I will try to find it. |

I was taught: "Two to the body and one to the head always leaves the target dead." Handguns are poor stoppers, but are easy to carry. I think the shooter did what he was trained to do. He shot until the target was down. When he got up he shot him again. He was shooting to stop the threat, not necessarily to kill even though he was using deadly force. That is what we are taught. If they can't carry hollow points soft nose bullets are a good alternative and better than FMJ. |
