You really are doing some mental gymnastics to justify that you don't like the song. If you don't like it that's fine. It's a cute video of some little kids playing football and doing a dance in the middle of the game. It's a funny video and was planned. The team on offense distracted the defense and scored a touchdown. Just give it a rest already we know you don't like the ghetto culture and you don't have to justify with stunting brain development.

Sure they are dances. Their origin is from ghetto culture. Do you honestly want your little boy/girl calling out to Souljah about doing the superman? Do you know what that is...what the song that popularized it is about?

What was Souljah Boy's song about that popularized "doing the superman"?

No, you must live a sheltered life. The past ghetto culture is changing. What you classify as as "ghetto" is much different these days

I played PeeWee football back in the 80's.  No one played songs over the PA system.  Hell, we played in the outfield of an old High School baseball field.  There wasn't anything out there.  It may have been different elsewhere.

ETA:  Even if they did play songs on the handheld PA thingie they had, it would have been unintelligible garble.

My SIL is currently a Lion's Club athletic coach here in North Central Texas.
I'm pretty sure this kind of behavior on the field would not go over very well with him.
Might be pretty funny to watch him rant and rave and turn colors over it though.

The original music video has almost 300 million views on YouTube.  I don't feel bad at all that I'd never heard of or seen it before today.

The football video was pretty funny though.  Pee wee football and other sports is probably more entertaining for the spectators than for the players.

I typically detest videos of people dancing, I can't stand it.

But i totally lost my shit at these kids. I used to coach peewee hockey, and I couldn't stop laughing at how much the kids just wanted to dance instead of line up and play.

made me smile.

If your kids are over the age of, I would say 3, they have heard this song...It is a commercial on Nickleodeon for Christ's sake.

This is not ghetto...It's not ghetto, it's not ghetto, it's NOT ghetto *lol*....I mean I could see you saying Hey I don't want my kid listening to Drake or E-40 or something..But the whip??? Holy shit it is like this year's version of Who Let the Dogs Out...Shit I think that song is more ghetto than this one.

Look around, there are doctor's offices, cheerleaders, old people, children, school officials, they are all doing it...I think it is probably one of the dumber songs out here (that by the way you guys have stuck in my head), that shouldn't even be classified as rap/hip hop...But it is funny...

Ok everyone, do the stankey leg...Go ahead try it, it's funny....Better yet break your legs, now break your legs *lol*

Lighten up you guys, everything is not WWIII and a major catastrophe. You guys need to get laid or have some sort of release...You are wound up too tight...The damn kids are adorable...
