The story of two women who say they were harassed at a Luke Bryan concert because of how they look is getting a lot of attention. Many say they're appalled by what the women say happened and hope it even draws the attention of the country music star himself. Twenty-year-old Lindsey Gray doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for her. "I'm a person, just like you. I'm just 4'1". I'm nothing different," said Gray, who was born with dwarfism. She's used to the stares, the comments, the jokes, but it never gets any easier. "The stares, the comments, the pictures, I think that's something that will never go away," Gray said, sighing. Never has that felt more true than last week, when Grey and her friend Rebecca Salois say they were harassed and mocked at a Luke Bryan concert in Fort Wayne, even before Bryan ever took the stage. It was so bad, the women left the concert. I think Bryan needs to address this.
It would be mighty big of him. |

It'd take some real shitbags to actually give a couple of young lady's like this trouble. There must have been a lot of fucking cowards there to not do anything about it. For fucks sake, that's some shit you'd expect from asshole children. The majority of people are just bad nowadays I suppose.
I'm as cold hearted as the next sob but hell, imagine that shit. They're there, trying to have a good time and people are tormenting them until they have to leave. That's some fucked up shit. It's so weird that people would still do shit like this. It's like the backwards ass evil bigot townspeople from a cheesy movie. |

He should incorporate midget tossing at his concerts, I might get interested then.

So far these bad jokes have fallen short of making me laugh . We have higher standards here and you guys are not there yet. You guys need to raise the bar .

We had a drafter at work that was a dwarf, nice guy that I liked a lot.
One of the engineers asked if I'd seen Todd. I said 'no, have you looked down?" We still laugh at that. RIP, Todd. Poor guy took a nap on the couch this spring and never woke up. |

Those guys don't know what they were missing out on...missed opportunity right there. And they're pretty cute.
If you ever want to feel really huge....nail a dwarf/midget. |

I don't condone the "harassment" and I have some empathy for their situation, as I knew some LP's in high school and college, but at the same time, you went to a concert where there were a lot of drunk people. As someone who's been to a few country concerts, I have to say that you can't NOT expect something like this to happen. And honestly, what do they expect Luke Bryan to do about it?

True story: One of my second on my mother's side was a dwarf extra in the village scenes in the beginning of the movie. I couldn't tell you which, though. |

OP, can you supply a brief summary for those of us with short attention spans?

This thread exemplifies the horrid, heartless mockery that is typical of GD. It's the only reason I come here. |

So they got their little feeling hurt and cried to the media for a little sympathy
