You can find the irrefutable evidence here
That’s because the start time of the game holds particular significance to Cubs fans. The official first pitch time is slated for 7:08 p.m. Central time, which in military time is 19:08. 1908, of course, is the last year in which the Cubs won the World Series.

The date of the game itself is also noteworthy, as it will be contested on October 7, or 10/7. 107 years, naturally, is the number of years it’s been since the Cubs have won a World Series title.

No, and somehow it will probably be the beer vendor in section 238's fault that they lost.
Go Cards. |

No, don't buy into that stuff.
They do have a great young team, though. And baseball, unlike the nba, is one of those sports where once you make the playoffs you have a legit shot. Especially since the team that had he best regular season lost their best player. And calling him their best player is an understatement, as he contributes to every aspect of the game, and was even their most important player when hey had Pujols in his prime. |

I wouldn't mind seeing them in the Series, but getting a beat-down by the 'Stros.

Hillary just said she is a Cubs fan = the Cubs are totally ruined now!

Self-fulfilling prophecy. Some number cruncher suggested those dates and times. They can't prevent the suck.
Now the reference from Back to the Future II is another matter entirely. |
|
why do you want to hasten the end of days?
The Cubs winning the series would free the four horsemen. |
|

|
In the movie back to the future, it shows Cubs win the world series in 2015???hmmmm

Damn right. |

50/50 they'll get past the pirates. (Thanks to Arietta)
0/100 they'll get past the cardinals. |

Local time of the pitch is 8:08
...or, it's scheduled for 5:08 West coast time. What's the point? |

I'd like to see that. I was a huge Cubs fan when I was a kid. This is the exact moment that I stopped following the Cubs, and pretty much, baseball altogether. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f8/Foul_ball_alou.jpg After they blew that game, I was done with them. I don't think I've watched a full game since, other than going to an occasional game at Great American Ballpark. View Quote That son of a bitch Steve Bartman lost that series for us |
