I just found out that a rare retro AR item Ive been looking to buy for the last few years just sold at a local gunshop for less than half its value.

I load 5.56 on the Dillon too, but I resize & decap on a single stage press, then trim, and then prime, charge, & seat the bullet on the Dillon. One of these days I'm going to buy the Rapid Trim so I can resize & trim with one toolhead, then swap out the toolhead for the powder/seating one. That'll save a crapload of time. I reloaded on a single stage and a Lee turret press for years. I wish I'd gotten a progressive way earlier. They really don't cost that much when you figure out how much time they save you. These days I usually only reload a few times a year and just do a whole bunch at once, except for oddball calibers and precision rifle stuff. |
