Geissele Soopa Tree Gun.
There is a video on Youtube of a rich guy comparing it with an M16 lower and the 1st Gen Tac Con trigger and it was damn close to the M16 rate of fire. My friend has one and it is too light for me personally. I like the ACT trigger better. Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUZjNiB1KMg |

RRA NM 2 Stage View Quote I've used RRA NM 2-stage, SSA, SSA-E, SD3G and ALG triggers. SSA-E, hands down for a 2 stage.SD3G for stupid fast rates of fire. RRA NM wasn't bad, but the SSA-E was way cleaner of a break. SSA-E + a compensator/brake that results in no/little muzzle rise = 5 shots on the same target lickety split. |

I really like the Super 3 gun triggers and have one in my 3-gun rifle. But the fastest I have ever shot was a tuned JP single stage.

Reset length on an SD3G is .06 inches. I've got a JARD adjustable set to .03 inches. IIRC American Gold triggers are set around .03.
I have an SD3G and they are a good unit. You can get triggers faster but it starts getting harder to make sure you don't accidently bump off a second round. If you want to shoot fast bumpstocks will let you run 750 to 1000rpm. Something to remember with semi autos is they have no timing control. If you pull the trigger faster than the bcg can close the hammer will follow the carrier down and fail to ignite the primer. I pulled the SD3G from my HD gun because I caused that malfunction a few times. |

I have the SD3G. I'm not too fast with it, but it will bump if you don't watch out. I think it's a fine trigger for any use

I strongly disagree. With an SD3G I can run about 450 RPM in short bursts. A carbine in full auto will run about 900 RPM. At CQB distances I would much prefer an auto at 900 RPM. That gives you a .3 second controllable burst dispensing 5 rounds. With practice you get twice as many rounds in the A zone in the same period of time. If you shoot 3-Gun or kick doors for a living then it makes sense to get a FA; for the rest of us, this is a pretty acceptable substitute. |

The frankford armory trigger should let you do an easy 800 RPM in the third mode.

Wondering where do the Timney triggers fit in? I have 3 of them. All single stage 4.5lb. I shoot well with them. I like they are drop in units.

CMC is freaky fast, probably the best enhancement to my gun. After installing the trigger, it straight up increased by double tap speed by like 50-60%. I was very VERY surprised. The second best enhancement was my Miculek Brake.

No...it's something you tighten when you drop the trigger grouping in. It keeps the entire trigger group in place. |

Given the replies I have to ask...what is a "gimmicky" AR trigger?
|
|

I can pull .11 splits with my factory AR-180 trigger. Beats the pants off when I shoot a SD3G.

JP or AR Gold.
Single stags CMC flat is pretty good but JP is my favorite. |

Auto is verboten and impractical for 3-gun. 2 round burst would be useful on hoser paper if the trigger pull was as good a match trigger. |

The reset is 0.015 in, 2nd stage pull adjustable between 14 oz and 39 oz, 1st stage 9 oz or 0 (if adjusted for single stage function), hammer mass 0.32 oz, lock time 4.1 ms. Available with a curved bow and a straight bow, adjustments for final pull, engagement, aftertravel and pretravel. I just measures the reset on my blue trigger and got .042 (measured from the center of the pad). It's probably faster than an SD3G in the right hands. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
