I think I'm the only guy left on Arfcom who still likes fixed stocks on non-retro AR's. I have an A2 stock on one of my rifles. It has a 2 stage trigger, just needs a bipod and a good scope. |

I don't like rifle length stocks. I prefer a not quite fully collapsed length. I'd like to try the Magpul fixed carbine, but don't want to buy one without trying it first. What I'd REALLY love would be an Ace stock that same length. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

A2 stocks are stupid, why take a stock that was already long enough and make it even longer to be uncomfortable with armor/winter clothes. I'm 6'4 and I think they're unreasonably too big.

Against my better judgement, I just rejoined the NRA. I'm tempted to do so myself. The temptation is great. Do et! If I did it, I'd be interested in the Life Membership. That would be next February or so before I could justify the expense. Got a couple of hefty expenses coming up prior to that. |

Squeeeee keee Squeeeee keee I hear my dogs in the other room have awoken and found their squeaker toy. I give the thing maybe an hour before it's been torn apart. As long as they have fun doing it I don't mind replacing them. |

I'm only an NRA member because I have to be to be a member of the local range. Other than that, I think they're as bad as the dems. They fully comprehend and act on the strategy of tension.

Eh, fixed stocks were fine at the time. Collapsible stocks pretty much are the way to go. I still might go for fixed stock rifles though.
