Looking forward to this season more than the last few for some reason... I have a glimmer of optimism for this season.  Doubt the Wings will win the Cup or anything, but I think we Wings fans will have more to cheer for than another "hey, we limped into the postseason, streak intact!" campaign.

Canes trade 2 meh prospects and a 5th to Chicago for Versteeg, some guy in the AHL and a 3rd.
More or less we upgraded our pick and helped out Chiraq with the cap. |
