So, now that we have surrendered to Iran it's just a matter of time before they build a nuke and give it to terrorists, so I will now take bets on which city will be the first to grow mushrooms. So which will it be?
Washington D.C. New York Los Angeles Chicago Seattle San Francisco Miami Some other U.S. City (name it) Somewhere in Israel/some other country Detroit (also known as just show me the results because that would be a waste of a nuke  .)

A port city with high population density. Yeah, that describes most of our big metro areas. I'd guess NYC, Boston, Philly, DC in that order due to ease of access for a commercial ship.

Iran is a huge country with an excellent air defense system, and they've done a good job of hiding and hardening their nuclear facilities. Neither us nor the Israelis can be sure that we even know about them all, let alone be confident of the success of a preemptive strike.
An Iranian nuke won't be detectible or vulnerable until it's above ground and associated with it's delivery system. There are undoubtedly lots of surveillance resources watching for that moment. |
