I test drove one in Colo Spgs with a sticker of 110k. Flawless turnkey conversion, the HEMI makes it a beast. They'd have to cut the price down to at least 1/2 of that for me to be able to do it. |

I see that with the 3.6 liter in the aev you can keep the cost near 45-50 k. With production hopefully it will come down some.

I'd rather own an ICON FJ44 personally.
Since I actually have to spend my own real life dollars though, I'll keep my FJC or I'd take a Rubicon, hard to justify 2-4 times as much money. |

I didn't see AEV badging but once I got home I googled it up, and found AEV. I still did wonder what in the world what I thought was an AEV was doing being driven by Jeep... |

I have a feeling this is what will happen if fiat will get its why
|
|
It will probably be a smaller version of the Gladiator concept vehicle. If they wanted to make it some crossover BS, they wouldn't be need to retool a line. Seems like a lot of expense for something that probably won't sell very many units. If they make the current Cherokee line into a Ram/Jeep truck flex line It might solve some volume issues. It will be interesting to see what route they go. Smaller Ram, or larger Jeep platform? Based on the ratio of two to four door trucks, will they further fragment possible sales, or just pick one?
