Grey and gray are both correct spellings. I use grey, don't know why, I'm not British. Ridiculous is the only spelling and rediculous is not a word. Anyone who voted for rediculous needs a dictionary.

Yeah, really. Who the fuck spells ridiculous with "red"?

The same people that list things "for sell", or have "bumbers" on their truck.

I think they are the same ones who have a "muzzle break" on their rifle(s).

Multiple choice is so you can order your rediculous with a side of pie.

When Merriam Webster changes the definition of a word, it begs the question "who is watching the watchers?"

http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/08/literally_definition_dictionary_wrong_english_languageyour_head_explode.html

Back in March, The Weekpointed out that Merriam-Webster had recently added a second usage of the word "literally" to mean the same as "virtually," but as hyperbole for emphasis. The Oxford English Dictionary has also included the informal definition, "used for emphasis while not being literally true," since 2011.

But while traditionalists are complaining about the demise of English, many are quick to say that language evolves over time and dictionaries reflect those changes.

"Our job is to describe the language people are using," OED senior editor Fiona McPherson said, according to the Daily Mail. "The only reason this sense is included is because people are using it the wrong way."

This is figuratively bullshit.

When Merriam Webster changes the definition of a word, it begs the question "who is watching the watchers?"

That's not what "begs the question" means.

Literally.

AFAIK there is one way to spell ridiculous.

Unlike gray. Gray = American, grey = Brit English (usually anyway, both are acceptable I believe unlike rediculous which is not a word)

There's only one correct way, and there ain't no damned 'e' in the word!

I swear the modern education system is devolving Americans into ignorant peasants. All the better to control us, I guess.
