Unless you're playing with complete fools you're not going to get anyone's 2nd rd picks for any of them.  I'd shop them all and see who really wants who.  Luck and manning are going to be the easiest to sell.

If I'm in your league I'm going to play the waiting game until you're really hurting in week 3 or 4 and then pounce for pennies on the dollar.

Why would you not just take the players you will end up trading two of them for in the draft?

You better get to the negotiating quick or you will be hurting right out of the box

Neckbearding QB's ?????????

In my leagues nobody would trade with you, and you would remain in the cellar all season drafting in such a foolish manner. Enjoy all those wasted FF pts while a couple #1 QBs waste away on your bench.

QB points are the most replaceable points in fantasy.

Fantasy is not a zero-sum game.

#10 pick out of 12 man league. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB Flex, 1TE, 1 K, 1 Def 6 Bench spots. Standard league no PPR.

QB - Rivers
RB - J Forsett
RB - L Miller
WR - D Bryant
WR - A Brown
TE - J Cameron
W/R - A Ellington
K - Bryant
DEF - Cardinals

BN - C Palmer
BN - A Abdullah
BN - A Foster
BN - John Brown
BN- B Lafell
BN - K Rudolph

I didn't pay close enough attention to bye weeks so I will probably drop one of my TE and week 9 is going to require some waiver wire work.  Any lineup suggestions for week 1 mainly for the flex position?

A couple people drafted QBs in the first round so I got Brown in the 1st round then since its a snake draft I took Dez with my 2nd round.

ETA: Just checked and 1st round went Lynch, A Rodgers, A Luck, R Wilson, P Manning, A Peterson, E Lacy, J Charles, CJ Anderson, A Brown, J Hill, L Bell.

Yeah most people were going after QBs and TEs in the early rounds.  Guy with the 1st pick took Hauschka in the 3rd round lol.  $25 buy in too so its not like its a joke league.

Cutler was just a highest remaining player on the chart with the last pick filler. Otherwise I am pretty happy. Feeling real real strong at WR.

Edit: 8 man, snake draft, 4th pick.

The only thing more pointless than an 8 team league is ranking an 8 team league.  They're all loaded and success is more a function of luck than skill.

Yahoo standard league, 10 team, 0 PPR. I had 3rd pick and got Jamaal Charles. This is a new league with friends so we could only get 10ppl this year.

Questions:
1) Do I need to work on my WR's? I feel my RB's are decently dialed in
2) Who to play at TE? I currently have a waiver in for TE Ladarius Green (SD) and  dropping Mychal Rivera.
3) Any talent I should scoop up in my waivers? (listed below)

QB: Ben Roethlisberger Pit - QB
WR: Alshon Jeffery Chi - WR
WR: Brandon Marshall NYJ - WR
WR: Allen Robinson Jax - WR
RB: Jamaal Charles KC - RB
RB: Matt Forte Chi - RB
TE: Josh Hill NO - TE
FX: Alfred Morris Was - RB

BN: Steve Smith Sr. Bal - WR
BN: Markus Wheaton Pit - WR
BN: Victor Cruz NYG - WR
BN: LeGarrette Blount NE - RB
BN: Darren Sproles Phi - RB
BN: Branden Oliver SD - RB
BN: Ryan Tannehill Mia - QB
BN: Mychal Rivera Oak - TE

Is there anyone obvious my waivers here that I should pick up? (click spoiler)

I'd drop someone for Devante Parker.  Parker is high risk/high reward.  Landry plays in the slot, so Parker will probably play the outside when healthy.

I'd drop wheaton or Cruz for him.

I play a 10 team and an 8 team.  I play with friends, and unfortunately not many people play fantasy football here.

At the beginning, it's hard to rank.  Halfway through its much easier to rank skill.  My drafted players damn near always get suspended or injured yet I always come near the top

10 team standard, picking 10th overall.

Tannehill

Stewart

Gore

Julio

Megatron

Olsen

WR/RB: Doug Martin

Foster

Palmer

Ryan Mathews

Agholor

Devante Parker

Mike Wallace

Crosby

Jets (streaming def...they play the browns in week 1)

I'm hoping Foster gets back ASAP, since then I'll have a fucking awesome RB lineup

Hoping Martin doesn't disappoint me like always...

Mathews because I think Murray has a high chance of getting injured and its a 40/40/20 split at the moment anyway.  Mathews is the best handcuff IMO

Ahgolor since surely Matthews won't get all the fucking targets, and Matthews will probably play the slot and Agholor on the outside.

Devante Parker for similar reasons, except he's injured

Wallace because Teddy needs an experienced WR threat, and with AP back, he's gonna get single covered all the time.

All the typical handcuffs are still on the wire: Knile Davis, Starks, Hillman, etc.

Terrance William is also on the wire.  Thinking of dropping DeVante Parker for him...

Your asking a lot of a 32 year old RB and another who RB who's hamstrings pop more than my knuckles do.  Ryan Mathews doesn't have a reputation as being able to stay on the field.

I don't have anything to say about the QB or starting WR's .  Parker is the 4th or 5th reciever right now, I have him on my watch list just in case he gets bumped up

I'm not saying your draft was bad, but you picked up a bunch of guys that have bad injury histories.

Drafting at last spot has its disadvantages. By the time it was my pick, the top 7 rb had already gone, which is why I opted for wr/wr. By the time it was my 3rd and 4th pick, the best 2 were Stewart and Gore, unless I wanted latavius Murray, Morris, randle, Gordon.

I'd like to hear more about the state of American football/ NFL down under.  How big is it, are the games widely broadcast, etc.  What demographic does it appeal to?  I find that fascinating.

It's quite niche. There's a small but strong following and a few games get broadcast on a smaller channel. Many of us buy gamepass so that we can watch games, since games are on during work hours or early in the morning.

Appeals to makes between 20-40 usually.

Now that hayne is playing, there are a fuckload of bandwagoners who are following who think they know everything when they have just been following nfl for 1 month. Nfl is getting a ton of airtime in the news because of hayne but man, the journalism is terrible

Cutler was just a highest remaining player on the chart with the last pick filler. Otherwise I am pretty happy. Feeling real real strong at WR.

Edit: 8 man, snake draft, 4th pick.

Just for comparison, I just did a 8 man PPR with a super flex.  I had last pick.

Bradford

Lamaar Miller

Justin Forsett

Antonio Brown

Dez Bryant

Greg Olsen

Q/WR/RB/TE: Brandin Cooks

Crosby

Cards (gonna stream anyway so will probably change this)

Foster

Doug Martin

Landry

Allen Robinson

Palmer

At the moment I have 4 RB and 6 WR, but I think that once Foster gets healthy, my RB will be fucking amazing anyway.  My starting WR trio is just stupidly good.

Took QB real late because there was so much value left on the board.  In the end I had to force myself to get QB or else there would just be nobody else left.

Week1 cards are vs NO, which makes me a little nervous.  I could stream:

Bengals @ Oak

Browns @ NYJ

Bucs @ Ten

Chiefs @ Hou

Colts @ Buf

Jets vs Cle

Which do you all think is the best for streaming?  I'm leaning toward Jets vs Cle or Chielfs @ Hou

I'm not going to go out and say that Christian Michael is going to be a starter right away in Dallas, but I'm thinking he's going to do something decent this season.

Edit to add: Seattle traded RB Christian Michael to Cowboys.

Got pick 11/12 for my 1/2pt PPR league Tues. I've been getting the likes of Anderson/Thomas, Julio/Thomas, Hill/Thomas, OBJ/Thomas in my mocks first two rounds.

Thinking of stocking up on WR maybe going Thomas/Jones then grab Andre Johnsin in rnd 3. Thoughts? Figure I can score Baldwin as my 1rb in later rounds. We only have 1 rb 1 qb 2 wr 1 te 1 flex.

If you only need 1rb, then I would load up on 2 WR and then maybe going for someone like Gore in round 3.

I wouldn't count on him, I'd look more at the RB that catches passes.  Forte would be a good option and maybe the kid from Detroit.

Chiefs Texans.

QB - T. Brady (NE)
QB - C. Palmer (ARI)
RB -  I. Crowell (CLE)
RB - D. Herron (IND)
RB - L. Taliaferro (BAL)
RB - J. McKinnon (MIN)
WR - O. Beckam Jr. (NYG)
WR - S. Watkins (BUF)
WR - D. Hopkins (HOU)
TE - D. Allen (IND)
TE - 1st string (BAL) I don't even remember his name.
DEF - Texans (HOU)
DEF - Falcons (ATL)
K - S. Hauschka (SEA)

I got the shaft on running backs and tight ends, but it's a QB driven league so I may be okay.  Week 9 is going to be rough as over half my team will be on "bye."  I won my league last year thanks to Brady.  Had Jeremy Hill as my primary keeper until I got news that Brady would play.

Unless this is a 16-20 team league you're in rough shape.

Am I interpreting your post correctly that you "kept" Brady over Hill?  Dude.

It's a 14 team league, but scoring has been modified to value QBs and WRs a bit more and RBs a little less.  Brady and the emergence of OBJ and Nuk Hopkinscarried me through the second half of the season and to win the championship when I basically just had Justin Forsett as my RB.

Bottomline...it's not standard scoring.  I may still struggle though.
