He got it.

Yeah, Cobb + GB DST pulled out a narrow victory for me from what seemed a lost cause after Sunday night.

My opponent had D. Freeman on his bench.

Thoughts on D/ST for this week?

I have Jets @Mia.  I'm feeling neutral on this matchup, so I won't mind if someone beats me to waivers otherwise.

Waivers available (I'm 9/10, so I probably won't get anything ):

I think I'll reach for GB @SF as a first priority, and if I don't get them, then maybe Phi @Wsh.  Thoughts?

Does your waiver order reset every week?

If not, I would not burn waiver priority over a DST.

GB @ SF is going to be a turkey shoot. Kaepernick is not good.

And that's the way it should be.  People who are active on waivers shouldn't be penalized.  Biggest reason why I love FAAB - it's fair and everybody has a shot to get who they want.

Yeah, it helps everyone stay competitive.

Funny fact, one guy in my league is 5th overall (1-2) but has the highest number of points for....by a margin of over 100 points.  He won this week with a score of 220 without his running backs putting up much numbers, while our league average is about 125.

You're well stacked at WR for starters but giving up watkins and wright (you're never starting them unless your starters aren't playing) means you have to go to the wire for bye week fillers.  If you're not comfortable with the bye week trouble you will run into nothing wrong with rolling Dalton until Ben gets back.

Also there's no reason to have more than one TE on your team, outside of Gronk they are all the same and you're just hoping your guy gets in the end zone.  So you can build some depth there at WR to make the trade happen.

Yeah I snagged walker when someone dropped him while hurt and had gilmore. I plan on dropping to one after walker comes off of bye next week. I went through my roster and didn't plan on staring wright at any point so thought it was a good trade if luck can get things rolling his next few games seem like easy matchups

QB - Eli
WR1 - Julio
WR2 - OBJ
RB1 - Gore
TE - Eifart
Flex - Hopkins
K - Prater
Def - CLE

Bench
RB - Stewart
RB - Yeldon
RB - Martin
RB - Starks
WR - Moncreif
TE - Gates

We only start 1rb in a .5 ppr league. I am planning on dropping Starks/Martin. Thinking of picking up Carpenter for kicker this week and Indy def against JAX. I have gotten killed in those two positions last two weeks. Waht other moves do I need to make? Was thinking of picking up Carr for this week I am not sure I like Eli's matchup in BUF.

In most leagues, I agree. If you're not claiming anyone else, GB would be great. PHI or WAS - either one could be decent.

In my dynasty league we have a rolling waiver order and you can camp out on a high waiver spot all season long if you want. Dynasty is a different animal, though.

Here's my lineup:

Manning
Forte
Woodhead
Hilton
J. Matthews
Eifert
S. Smith
McManus
Broncos

Bench:
Brady
Forsett
Gurley
D. Jackson
Moncrief
E. Ebron

Here's who's available on waiver that I'm eyeballing:

RB:
Karlos Williams
Chris Johnson

WR:
Rishard Matthews

TE:
Charles Clay

I'm stacked at receiver, but desperately need a RB to step up.  Hate this RB by committe BS.  I'd like to pick up Matthews, but not sure I'm willing to drop anybody.  And Charles Clay should be a worthy addition over Ebron.  I suppose after Brady's bye I could try shopping Peyton to someone in need of a QB next week.

You could drop the 2nd TE for RB. I think I'd pickup CJ2K over Williams, ARI is looking like a Rolling Stones tour - yeah, they're old but they're still rocking.

Eifert, Ebron, Clay - not enough of a difference to worry about it.

Have some patience with Gurley and you could end up pretty strong at RB.

I think it may be a question of "if" McCoy gets healthy rather than "when".

But even if Shady gets healthy-ish, I expect Williams to have carved out a role.  If not a full blown committee, then at least 6-8 carries a game.

He's worth owning while McCoy is hobbled, and maybe after if he continues to impress.

Karlos Williams will be hot
Lance Dunbar - he's weeden's dump off safety net and lots of value in PPR
Andy Dalton - really?  We're talking about Andy Dalton?  Really?!  Yes, really.
Thomas Rawls - Lynch backup

Ty Montgomery - GB WR, Devante Adams isn't doing what he's supposed to be doing and he's hurt.

Boy I really missed on James Jones - I wanted nothing to do with him and thought his first game was a fluke.  He's doing what Devante Adams was supposed to do/be and I went after Adams everywhere.

Rawls, especially in keeper leagues, is going to be a hot pickup if Lynch's owner doesn't already own him.

Dunbar is the best pass catcher in DAL with Weeden at QB and Dez out.

Dalton could be a top 10 QB the rest of the season.

Williams is going to stay on the field even after McCoy is healthy. The BUF backfield will be a time share.

The caveat being, I picked up Devonta Freeman last week. Made the decision to start him. 34 points. Yay me.

I also picked up Tyler Eifert. Sat Jimmy Graham. Eifert = 0 points; Graham = 14 points on my bench.

I also had to choose between starting Calvin Johnson, Julian Edelman, Antonio Brown and A.J. Green. Guess who was on my bench? Green, who had 34 points.

Entering Monday Night's game, my opponent needed 34 points to beat me. Aaron Rodgers was the only player in-play for either of us. How many points did Rodgers get? 34 points.

"Toes before Hoes (a play on Rex Ryan's foot fetish involving his wife)" lost to the "Louisville Farthammers," 104-103. So take any fantasy advice from me like a grain of salt.

Thinking long and hard about dropping Bradford for Flacco.  Flacco has better matchups moving forward, and a better o-line, but I'm going back and forth on who has better weapons.  I also know that as soon as I drop Bradford, he'll go nuts and put up some absurd numbers.
