It would require reseting of the computer somehow because if you run out of DEF it will only give you 5hp to drive to the stealership.

Its on all of them. On the fords its above the fuel tank. So you get a 25gal tank instead of 34 on the dmax. 100$ skidplate takes care of it. Its pretty much level with the framerails. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

#1 thing to do is tint the front windows IMO, then leveling. On the passenger side, what the heck is that under the truck? Thats a huge chunk of something that will cause high centering easily on unlevel terrain. I'd get better tires That WAS the DEF tank after he takes it off the road. First thing I noticed. Is that location New? I drove a brand new 2500 Duramax around the country for a show in 2013 (I think), it used DEF but I never saw that box. That looks like an issue just waiting to happen. Nice looking truck though. Its on all of them. On the fords its above the fuel tank. So you get a 25gal tank instead of 34 on the dmax. 100$ skidplate takes care of it. Yep, you will like that rake. Any reason why you went with the small wheels? Not judging, just figured that on a new model you could pick your options. I can't believe the low ground clearance on that too. I thought it was bad enough on my Chevy with a front end like that. Makes me glad I went gas over diesel. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/537/w5sgzT.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

My list was
Tinted Security film on the side and rear windows. Low profile tool box Tonneau cover. Extra tie downs on side rails and bed floor. Rubber bed mat (keeps stuff from sliding) Electric lock for the tailgate. |
|
Good looking truck, I'd put black rims on it with some good tires. The stock ones are usually junk.

Nice truck. Don't fuck with it. If you do level it, make sure you put a Yeti sticker on the back window.

Tire upgrade. I have the same shitty tires on my Cummins and they spin when its wet and its really fun trying to use them in dirt and grass! Im going to a set of Toyo ATII before winter on mine. My buddy has a 2015 2500 and a 2015 2500 and he tossed the tires ASAP as well. Nice truck.

That's a def tank, tanks epa. It's coming off the moment I get the four or $5,000 it costs for a delete kit. I can get the dealership to do it for me and my truck still covered by warranty. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Unless it's a mall crawler don't bother with the leveling kit....those are for kids that don't know what a truck is for. |

Been looking into it for my truck View Quote Thin motor oil out with diesel fuel so that it's thin enough to spray on through a spray bottle, apply liberally, and then find yourself a dirt or gravel road to go up and down a few times. I learned this from a few of my old-timer, car collecting friends that I've met over the years; it works great and is cheap. OP, you mean to tell me that you are going to level out the truck and then do some hot shot work? I see truck nuts and a stack in your future. Nice truck, don't go tarding it up. |

I can''t get over how low the front bumper hangs. I'd be trimming off all that excess black plastic asap. Nice truck, though.

Husky floor liners (mats don't cover the whole area) on sale.

Both have the same coverage. I have Husky and really like them. Bug guard to try and keep the front hood from getting chipped. http://www.autoanything.com/deflectors/10A10002.aspx |

Do on a hot day and warm the cans in a sink of hot water so it flows better. [the newer formulation sets up faster] You'll have to search the web for the best pricing, it's not cheap but a case will do several vehicles. Touch up as needed. Last case was around $150 to the door. |

Leveling kits are dumb. Government motors are dumb.
The Duramax emblem on the hoods look like a third grader designed them. Looks nice otherwise. |

Nice truck man, but the first thing you need is step-bars. They help getting in and out, but they will hide that ugly DEF tank.

My 04 half ton needs that factory designed unlevelness to carry things and not have the ass end sagging.
A leveling kit does away with this purposely engineered feature, does it not? why get an HD model if not looking to have the ability to carry things that are heavy? This simple Kentuckian is confused |
