The thing is, when I became a member in 2004, that was the rule.
Then people pushed the envelope and then the staff had no choice to move it to Team. People complained, then it was moved to its own forum. For fucks sake, 60% of the Internet is filled with half naked women. Or maybe it's because the woman I lust over I live with and her last name isn't .jpeg

As was said above, there are restricted forums in the site that "you can see" but not enter to read or post in unless you are "vetted". (military community. LEO, mod and Staff forum in GENERAL community.etc) The idea of these forums is to give the members of that community freedom (from trolling) and relative confidentiality to discuss issues that specifically affect them. Can they be abused? Sure, and they have been in the past! We see every day how people abuse their freedoms and rights, but that does not justify denying the rights to everyone because a small sub-set of them abuse it |

I don't give a shit about BOTD level pictures as a personal need to see them or post them, for me it's about the fucked up priorities.
Attractive woman in a bathing suit that we'd all see at any public pool? CoC violation. Video of a mexican cartel's victims gurgling their own blood in death throes? It'll fly. What are we protecting innocent viewers from? Horrors? Guess which is more horrific, it ain't a Milf in a 2-piece. As was said above, there are restricted forums in the site that "you can see" but not enter to read or post in unless you are "vetted". (military community. If only 20 people see each of my posts, then that's 340,000 page views. How nay ads are on a page? Multiply that X 340,000 and figure in how much they get per ad impression. And I don't give a shit about BOTD. I am just pointing out that if it isn't about the money, then it wouldn't be pay to play. |

The mod and staff forums are hidden to all normal members and aside from it being common knowledge (and logical) that they exist, are otherwise unknown. Unless one reads the related threads in team or is told one would not know they exist. |
