Shooter didn't really "mag dump", sounded like aimed fire. That's some cold shit right there. If it was personal maybe he let the interviewee alone.
She's probably got family who watched that live, they must be completely freaking out right now. |

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/virginia-police-shooting-live-television-news-report/ Edit- Last Updated Aug 26, 2015 8:57 AM EDT A gunman killed a reporter and videographer for a CBS affiliate in Virginia in a shooting that was broadcast live Wednesday morning. Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and cameraman for CBS Roanoke affiliate WDBJ-TV, died in the shooting, Parker's mother confirmed to CBS News. |

I hope they find the shooter quickly and he puts up a fight, and loses. |

On the WSET link that I posted in the OP, there is a "high-priority incident on Route 122 in the vicinity of Dovetail Road near Bridgewater Plaza. Both north and south through lanes are closed." Don't know if that's related to the shooting or not but, maybe.

I used to know a guy that was a cameraman for WDBJ7. I hope it's not him. I just saw him recently for the first time in years too. Cameraman was Adam Ward, reporter was Allison Parker. Aw jeez. Not the guy I knew. Any word on the condition of the victims other than the reporter? |

Updated just now, both the reporter and the cameraman died. WDBJ did announce that they were indeed romantically involved. Could be a stalker or jilted ex... Bad situation Evil is alive and well in this world. Any word on the other woman? No one has said anything about her condition as of yet. |

Damn, they were engaged to be married. The anchor and camera man.
6 seconds......... |

Sad to hear this. Hope the bastard ends up deaded.
Can't wait for McDouchenozzle, Warner, and Timmay to push for AWB/mag limits here in Va because of this. (Even if no AW were used). ETA: Although I live 45 mins-1hr away, wonder if this is why I saw a State Trooper and BC sheriff hauling ass down 460 towards Bedford after I dropped my son off at his babysitters. |

Christ...
I hope that piece of shit catches a case of lead poisoning. |

Makes me sick. I am thinking I shouldn't have watched that video.
This is why I carry. There are mentally ill people out there that have no hesitation to commit violence. I am just about certainly never going to encounter one... but they do exist. So very sad. I wish people would stop killing each other. |

There have been reports of a guy going around impersonating a police officer recently. His description seems accurate to the screen grab from the shooting. http://www.thefranklinnewspost.com/news/deputies-search-for-police-impersonator/article_0055ff64-4b5a-11e5-ad6b-6771ad7d10cb.html
