I know there are lot of threads in GD.  Since we will all try to remember what was paid for these in the future, how about a consolidated list?  Without a doubt, it may be some of the lowest priced firearms in this decade.  Why not consolidate a list so we can remember, that one time I got this on clearance......

Here's a start, help me out and I'll try to edit a list into the OP.  I can't remember all the model numbers and prices so help is appreciated.  Try to stay on topic of consolidating this list.  There are plenty of Walmart threads out there.....see bottom of this OP for links.

WM is getting out of the black gun business... might be getting out of the business all together in many locations.  This makes sense why certain ammunition was no longer being called in by WM and WM was running them under priced to clear out.

Curious myself. Could be some markets only. Time will tell.

Interesting... perhaps $300+ guns are just too expensive for Walmart clientele.  Or their "friends" in Washington warned them about legislation coming down the pike.

I think it's the same thing that happened in 2006 when WM cut down stores down to a third who carried guns and ammo.   I think they are making those stores' numbers much smaller now.

I have visited enough WM's to realize that this isn't a company wide thing, but this is many areas.  Some of the areas will cease to carry ammo too based on what I've seen.... this to me would seem to make sense given the ZQI stop orders and the Perfecta stops that we have seen.

Other stores seem to be simply clearing out specific items that weren't really great sellers from the start.  However, they all seem to be wanting out of the sporting rifles or "black rifles" if you will.  I assume with the salad days they have zero margins.

Several stores by me aren't moving anything, but do have a few select items to clear out.   Other stores have complete empty displays such as the one below...

I keep saying I'm done, but I went to Walmart today to look at end of summer clearanced lawn mowers. Decided to check the gun case. They had a Colt 6920 Magpul edition that had not been available earlier, but had been in the gun room on background check hold. It never cleared so was put back out this morning for sale. Picked it up for $500.00. Also picked up a Mossberg 930 tactical shotgun for $250.00.

Kind of worries me seeing Walmart dump black rifles. Our arguement the last few gun bans has been "How can anyone claim AR's aren't common use when you can buy them at Walmart!" Now...Walmart dumps them. Anti-gun folks are probably fucking creaming themselves.

I believe you may be right about Walmart completely abandoning firearm sales in some locations. The four nearest stores to me have not had any inventory at all for over six weeks now. I asked employees in the sporting section and they stated that their particular stores will no longer stock these items. A friend of mine who lives a few hours away in an area that generates a decent amount of revenue from hunters, stated that the only WM in their town has also stopped selling firearms and ammo altogether.

I was at my local Wal-Mart twice today. The first time, while buying the last two AR-15's, customers were asking if they were ever going to have more AR-15s. The four people behind the counter all said "No. Layer60 just got the last two."

This afternoon, I ran back because I forgot to check for ammo, and a new clerk was there, telling people that it was just a sale and they were going to keep carrying everything. The small crowd of customers clearly didn't believe it and outright told him that he was wrong. He goes in the back and returns with an arm load of Bushmaster AR-15s and promptly sells them all for $400 each. I was all "WTF? I would have bought those earlier but the other Wal-Mart employees told me you were out!" So... damn it all.

I don't know what to think, at this point.

Yes, it is like the one I bought today, it was sitting in the gun locker for a background check delay, and never got put back out until today. I have a suspicion that a LOT of Walmart's that Arfcommers are seeing "sold out" of AR's based on the floor displays, still have plenty in the back room. I know for a fact that one Walmart I checked last week and was told "We are sold out of AR's.", in reality had a dozen+ rifles in the back that were not being fed onto the floor display. It ticked me off because a friend went by after I had asked, and got two 6920's for $500.00 each, and other guys were buying some as well. My friend said the display was empty, but a sporting goods manager checked the computerized store gun log and found a slew of Colts and other makes in the back. I do not think it is a conspiracy or anything, I just think a lot of Walmart's are just lazy or sloppy. Easier to just say sold out, than go look for the back stock.

They were out of the Mossberg 930s and now the stainless 10/22.  If you are hoping for a 50th anniversary 10/22, you may not get one.  I got an early 2014 model.

I posted in one of those threads. I got the Sportical for the same $250 that you have listed, but I also got one not on your list, a Bushmaster Carbon 15 with the el-cheapo red dot, $300. The red dot is already replaced with a Vortex Sparc 2.....can't afford tier 1 at this time

Thanks everyone.  Let me know if I missed anything as I'm sure this thread will head to the archives.

Wonder how much the Walmart clearance helped with this.......

Wait, they quit selling *flashlights*?

And of course, , because no WalMart within 50 miles of me sold guns at all, it seems.

I'd go in there and have them scan the ARs SKU.

My WalMart has a few overpriced ARs and very little ammo. It's a sad little store.

This is what I did after hearing about the sales on ARFCOM. I walked out with 3 AR's, a 930 tactical and all their MSR ammo. Then went back the next day for a half price AR223 scope
