The honest answer is maybe, depending on how serious she was. I know you think, "dude, how much more serious can you get?" But sometimes successful suicides are gestures that people noticed too late. If she did it in such a manner that it was hidden or so devastating that there was no way of avoiding death, then no, you couldn't have prevented it. People that determined hide it well and are quite convinced that is the only way out. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Wife and I had a breakdown tonight trying to wrap our heads around this whole suicide issue. Can't do it. Sucks pretty bad. [hugs] My SIL did it back in 2000 and I STILL wonder if we could have done anything to keep her from doing it. The honest answer is maybe, depending on how serious she was. We told her no. 2 weeks later is when she hung herself. |

Doubtful. Won't stop the Monday morning quarterback though. Max had talked to his father earlier in the week on the spirituality of suicide (he was Buddhist, the rest of his family Christian), his father asked if anything was wrong, he said no. They had had company over who had brought the subject up, so it evidently didn't seem too strange full be asking. They badd all also made summer plans. All seemed right. Didn't stop him from driving to our former high school parking lot and putting a bullet in his brain. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Bi-polar teen on and off Prozac, before suicide was an announced side effect. She spent a lot of time self medicating, in and out institutions. Mom and Fred never told the rest of us about the bi-polar and Prozac. We all assumed she was just a brat and would grow out of it. |

Replied back with the "lowest price" and he said he would try again later. Yesterday he emailed me with the same price expecting me to accept it. Replied back with listed price. |
