Do yourself a favor. Don't leave it sitting in your driveway.

$90k for a GM product... Yeah, I don't exactly lump the corvette, especially this version in with other GM products. To me, the brand of corvette is not necessarily representative of the shit-fest that is most of the rest of GM's product line. Plus, it's a sports car. People don't expect the same things from them, especially the very high end ones. They expect high maintenance, they expect high bills. They expect to have to work on them more often. For a general commuter-beater, I'd go import. But if I was looking for fast, cool, and potent....the corvette, especially the limited editions that are more than graphics packages.....are a solid choice. Even if they are a GM product. |

I'm truly happy for you man, I'm having trouble coming up with money to buy tubes for my amp. Nice car, enjoy! |

Nice car OP, congratulations!!!!!! What options? I have one on order - should be here sometime this fall. Silver/1LZ - only options: Battery Protection Package (fancy Battery Tender hook-up), eight-speed paddle-shift automatic (after many/many performance cars all with sticks, decided to try the automatic). Should look a lot like this ............. http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk64/drfcolt/Z06%20Corvette/Z0605_zpslhltzpbi.jpg You bought a fucking automatic? Yep, gonna' give the 8-speed paddle-shifter a try. That's all that's available in the GT-R. |

Very cool car.
I have some bad news though - all the cool cars in the world won't get rid of that 13er status though. Till you buy Arfcom at least. Then you probably could. |
Nice wheels yo. You're still a 13'er though. Sorry.

this thread has me contemplating sitting in a closed garage with my car running while I consider my options...

That is one bad-ass car, OP. What school did you to? Some top-tier university? Or a state college? Schooling is not a factor, I went to college and got my degree but I believe that personnel drive and the ability to work hard trumps all other factors. Is that kind of like a cattle drive? Obviously schooling wasn't a factor with you, that's for sure... Be careful there OP, I'd hate for you to sprain your elbow stroking your ego so hard... |
Sweet car. Your ego is showing. But cool car nonetheless. I dig it.

Pretty neat OP. Guy on the next street over has a ZO6/ZO7 in the same color combo. Saw it at the gas station today. Sounded downright menacing.

very nice car!
I love how they are returning to a more old school look. My favorite Corvette of all time is still the 68 Stingray, but the newest one is giving it a run for its money. |

Sweet car, starting a thread about being top tier and buying a $90k car makes me believe http://m.quickmeme.com/img/63/6369750e831b6b1337f546091f91bdf1fc5396389576bca63fd6dad66705f97f.jpg View Quote So, so jelly. |

Nice ride OP!! congrats!
I'm guessing it didn't have an option for humility. |
If I could spend $90k I would do it just like you did.
Good job! |
I thought the 2015 Camry I bought was cool.....
Nice job OP. Not to many people can say they are living the American dream, a side from Dan Bilzerian. Good for you. |
Typical corvette owner.....has to make sure everyone knows how much he paid for his car, and how awesome he is.
OP is actually a valet at the local steak house
J/K.....Congrats OP. Those are definitely nice cars. |
Damn OP, I that white really draws me in.
I'm still on course for a murdered out one, but the white looks great. |
I had a choice between the new Vette or a divorce
Now I drive a Chrysler |
"pfft... all I need is vinyl seats and AM/FM radio in my cars!"
I think the new vettes look fucking badass, especially from behind since that's how I see them usually. |
Your not top tier unless you can drive it at it's full potential. On the track I've seen instructors in Dodge Neons driving circles around guys in Vipers and guys on air cooled Buells (HD 1200's) beating guys on their 1000cc sport bikes.
LOL at your 650hp.....now 1540 is more like it!!!! from my lowly 2011 Camaro
Nice car btw |

One of the very few vettes I would consider buying (never will though). Any ideas yet for mods?
Which dealer did you buy it from? |
You work for a construction company and bought a car? What you gonna do when they send you on Home Depot runs?
