Yeah, I don't exactly lump the corvette, especially this version in with other GM products. To me, the brand of corvette is not necessarily representative of the shit-fest that is most of the rest of GM's product line. Plus, it's a sports car. People don't expect the same things from them, especially the very high end ones. They expect high maintenance, they expect high bills. They expect to have to work on them more often. For a general commuter-beater, I'd go import. But if I was looking for fast, cool, and potent....the corvette, especially the limited editions that are more than graphics packages.....are a solid choice. Even if they are a GM product. |

Your not top tier unless you can drive it at it's full potential. On the track I've seen instructors in Dodge Neons driving circles around guys in Vipers and guys on air cooled Buells (HD 1200's) beating guys on their 1000cc sport bikes.
